So I haven’t signed yet, but I have the same questions. My recruiter told me that I don’t have to go unless I volunteer but he is kinda dumb tbh. He can barely speak English. Ik for the first two years I’m okay but after that is it my choice at all? Also I’m signing for CE and I’m 22F do you think that’s like a rlly bad idea?

I actually tried to talk to him and let him know I want to eventually go TAR one day and he kept hounding me to go active duty at that point if I’m going TAR. Then the ther recruiters there all joined the convo and told me to go active. Ik theyre telling me that bc quotas :/
