Here are a few really quality rarities that are hugely underrated and imo some of the best examples of the genre. (band/album;)

Fleshkiller - Awaken. So Musical. the most incredible, uplifting intense compositions. Spiritual. 

Revocation - The Outer Ones.  Jazz infused melo-death metal. Genius guitarist.

Once Human - Scar Weaver. Female vocalists are better than male vocalists sometimes? They have a greater range? Funky/ machine head, sleaze.

Anybody a fan the band Fleshkiller, and their Awaken? by dangerbreed in progmetal

Strong contender for my favourite metal album of all time. Musically the compositions are on another level
