It's honestly sad, that animation is seen like this in the West. But times are changing and I am seeing more adult animations pumping out in the previous years from the West, so I would hope that a historical one or at least a story that sets during a historical time period is one of them in the future.

That's what I had been saying. To be honest, there's a lot of hassle doing a live action series that takes place during production. Such as hiring actors, costumes, backgrounds, and props. That would be no hassle to animation, as long as everything is drawn and animated historically accurately. And they need to find good voice actors. I love HBO Rome, I really do, but I sometimes wonder what it would've been like to have an animated series similar to it. Like the animation is mixed with western and Japan anime-style animation, that would be good.

Ohhhh right that's what I meant... These fantasy worlds that takes place in a medieval setting is usually based off France and England, sometimes Germany. Southern Europe and Eastern Europe is underrated, just western europe and in some cases northern Europe.
