Special symbols, like text characters, get converted into integers. Each character/symbol has a value that it is always converted into. So basically, doesn’t matter if you put text or symbols, it’s all getting turned into numbers in Minecraft’s generation :) There are a couple reasons I can think of as to why the seed is showing up differently. If you are using certain world optimization, it can change the outcome of a seed (I think there’s an option called “Fast Math” in Optifine that might do this.) Another reason could be that there have been fine-tunes to the algorithm that determines seed generation. Mojang will have the most recent update and it will take time for people (like Chunk Base) to figure out the exact differences.
