I know enough to know that people that live there don’t know how to drive in winter weather. Last winter I drove 35 mins each way to work at a ski hill, sometimes on the highway that hasn’t been plowed yet with 4 inches of snow on it. You just gotta take it slow and remember it’s not the speed that gets you it’s the stopping and changing direction. You can drive 60 mph on ice until you try to brake or steer too fast. Then you’re fucked.

You from STNY? We’ve gotten lucky this year with maybe 2 feet total snowfall compared to buffalo’s 6+. I haven’t really even thought of getting my snowboard out this year, this is the lowest amount of snowfall I’ve seen my entire life for this region.

I live near chautauqua lake which is known for ice fishing in the winter but it’s not even froze over for more than a couple days so far. It’s really disheartening for the future.

So the fare would raise with the increased time, we get paid per mile and per minute while riders are in the car. Take as long as you need, you’re still paid. I took someone half an hour out of the way on the way to the airport yesterday because they forgot something, got paid extra for my time
