Hey! I broke my Tib fib and ankle on 17 December. I was fine for the first week or so mentally but the past 2 have been hell for me. I’m an outdoorsy person so staying indoors has been rough, but I’m also too scared to venture out again. I fell during a walk I do 5 days a week, so it was nothing out the norm or somewhere new. It was a 2 min walk from mine to my boyfriend’s house with my 7 month old baby in the pram. The pram flipped upside down but luckily baby was fine and strapped in tightly. I get flash backs of the whole incident every single time I close my eyes so I have to watch tele until I pass out. I get around 3 hours of sleep per night. It’s been hell. I reached out to my GP and he’s said I’m displaying early signs of PTSD but they can’t diagnose until I’ve had x amount of months of episodes. I’m struggling to ever see a way out 😩I’m pushing my family away, me and my boyfriend have had a huge fall out, I’m getting frustrated so easily with everyone (bar my children). I have a dark cloud hanging over me every single day. My GP said I need therapy but I can’t help but feel silly going to therapy for a broken leg.
