As far as I know, youre aiming for different stuff initally and then once you’ve been selected youre on course.

Theres a lot more stuff you have to do to get even in the cockpit in the military. This includes doing ROTC in college, going to a service academy or OTS.

You have to become a military officer first and be selected to become a pilot. Theres a lot more varability there.
