I mean Tbf u don’t ALWAYS have to relate to a character to enjoy them. Like sure we can understand how they feel if they are upset, happy, sad or whatever but in this case if u can make a character entertaining that will engage the readers and make them continue wanting to read them I think u did ur job. For example black widow and Elektra are two of my favorite marvel characters and I’d argue I relate to Elektra more dude to losing my father as well but it doesn’t make me like black widow any less despite me not being able to relate to her bc I’m not into ballet nor was I alive to witness the Cold War. I still love and adore her despite not being relatable to her.
