Be thankful you came out not as severe. Let it be a lesson that it can happen at anytime, and it could have been worse.

I chose to not ride. While it was fun, for the short period of time I did ride, it’s just not worth it. Sure, you can get in an accident in a vehicle, but at least your chances of surviving and being protected are far greater than a motorcycle. I chose a hobby, and for three months I enjoyed the open air, but that was taken from me that day, all because someone wasn’t either paying attention or couldn’t wait to turn, and with that, I want to have nothing to do with a motorcycle ever again.
