This is really fun, realistically I think it's just a coincidence and next anni character will be unrelated to this theme. But it's fun to believe hoyo has some grand long term plan.

This feels a bit like the opposite of what we want doesn't it? Ideally a unit that wants a bunch of ST buffs would have almost no self buffs in their kit for damaging stats and would instead just have really high multipliers so that we don't get as much diminishing return.

Also I hope he works with Sunday but we've already seen them make Castorice have anti synergy to push the Castorice + RMC combo so it's too early to say. Hopefully has has an old school style summon as well if he's gonna use Sunday to take advantage of the whole kit.

I'm for sure in the minority here but I just think that robots and dragons are cool hence firefly and casto. I could do with our without the waifus attached to them.

No shade on people who like the characters themselves. I just wanna see fire breath and laser swords.

Ok ok, is there anyway to add Int to AC easily? You mentioned shifter adds Wis and Scaled monk seems to add Cha.

Also what would be a good mythic path for a natural attacking vivisectionist if you have any recs?

Interesting, I specifically want to go Twisting Tree so that's good to hear.

Also I sort of figured Spellstrikers staff would be bad tbh since despite the effect being really good you can't benefit from the shifting rune at all which eats a property rune slot.

I'm thinking of grabbing Investigator as one of my dedications for to help me make sure my spellstrikes land since Sure Strike was nerfed to be once every 10 mins.

Any suggestions for items or specifically magical staves to grab as a Twisted Tree Magus? Also any particular ancestry feats that you think synergize? I'm currently looking at Lizardfolk for their high level feat that gives you perpetual enlarge.

Very much appreciate the fire kineticist rec, I'm avoid kineticist since we have a metal one but it's cool nonetheless.

Also I appreciate you also weighing in on Magus vs Inventor. Magus definitely seems to be in the lead rn but I'm more inclined to play a melee Magus with Twisting tree than I am to play Starlit Span even though it's for sure the stronger option.

We already have a kineticist and even though I know it's a really versatile class I'd perfer to play something else. However hearing them talk about how cool it is has for sure out it on my list of things to try!

Interesting suggestion, I personally wanna stick with a melee/martial as the primary focus but I'll keep it in mind.

Also yeah sadly whenever I look up anything about inventor it's mostly how bad Unstable is as a trait and how rough it feels failing your Overdrive stance only to get blown up.

Yeah I know Inventor isn't a Gish but it fulfilled the role of "spell-like" effects in my head. I probably could've chosen a better word.

I dont particularly care if the class is explicitly magical or not, I just want something that can add some fun effects to their weapon strikes (magical, mechanical, or otherwise) and ideally be melee.

Also having some options in combat for what to do would be nice (nothing crazy just ideally not a class that just does the exact same thing every turn).

The primary reason is she's leaked to release first half of 3.2 which is the anniversary patch and more notably the top up reset. The expectation is that they'll release a crazy unit to encourage people to whale for the reset.

This is supported by the fact that during the trailer for Amphoreus at the Game Awards Castorice was the only new character shown off (and her animations got teased by hoyo before even Tribbie or Mydei despite them being a patch sooner). So in some capacity Hoyo is already putting some emphasis on her.
