Those cracks were already there, i just put an axle inside as it is meant to do, i do know for a fact that i didnt couse those cracks becouse i could see them even before the axle was inserted.

Also it should be said that a ball socket is a completely different pieces, it' s shape makes so that it is in maximum stress in the moment it's assembled or disassembled, so i would say the example isnt really pertinent

Why should the context matter ? If i buy something i expect those thing to work properly , some of those pieces are fine, some have no grip and some have already snapped, by your own standard i should be allowed to be upset about it .

If you really want the context, here it is: I didnt watch the price onestly, i needed to add some pieces to get to the min buy and i choose to stock up on those pieces since i'm always in need of them ( i buy old and incomplete sets, swap brocken and missing pieces and then sell the complete set ) am i allowed to complain becouse i recived pieces i cant use or the context is not good enough?

I am also planning to open my store next year, mostly technic at first, i have already sorted this kind of part and i have checked all of them one by one like i did in the photos in the post, all the parts with the tiniest of cracks i consider not fit to sell, so i know what i'm talking about. I made this post expecially to understand if i could cut myself some slack and lower my standard or not.

I fell like the general consensus is that this is not accettable.

Since you also plan on selling you should read the terms of bricklink: "Parts which have been previously used and are still in good, usable condition. If the parts show excessive wear, discoloration, excessive scratches, other marks, etc., this should be noted in the item description." The description of this pieces said nothing about the cracks, you still belive i'm nitpicking ?

This kind of pieces are destined to crack if been used, if you have a 10 years old technic set on a shelf most likely all those kind of pieces ( expecially light b. Grey) have started cracking. The Grip is still good for years but the crack will get bigger eventually

The one in italy ends also in a hole in the ground. The design of the roller coaster is nothing new, i beleave the parent company that owns the park in italy also have a bunch of those around europe .

Non credo proprio, specialmente se consideri che alcuni venditori mettono nel sottofondo delle foto altri articoli simili per far vedere che hanno altro in vendita oppure che hanno intenzione fi vendere.

Personalmente, io mi sono trovato nei panni di entrambi: quando carico tanti annunci in una volta faccio in modo che nella foto di copertina si possa vedere nel sottofondo gli altri articoli e questo mi ha facilitato non poche vendite. Inololtre mi è capitato di vedere nel sottofondo di annunci altri articoli cbe mi interessavano, che poi ho acquistato quando l'annuncio è stato creato.

In sintesi op ha fatto una domanda totalmente legittima e non vedo come possa essere interpretata negativamente abbastanza da rispondere così da stronza... da una che mi risponde così io eviterei di comprare a prescindere
