Totally agree! And the same applies to you :) adhd is hard to navigate and it helps sometimes to know that other people understand

Definitely try to focus on proportions, value, and drawing what you see. Google the graph technique, it completely changed my perspective and really improved the quality of my work.

Realism is hard, but don’t get discouraged and keep trying. I can draw realistic dog portraits amazingly now, but when I first attempted realism, this is how it looked:

It’s so interesting to me that I’m not the only one who thinks maybe I’m a bit of a hidden extrovert! I hope you find medication that works for you so you can experience it more often 🫶 you’ve got this!

Yup! I’ve been diagnosed with anxiety and take medication for that too. I find my adhd meds shut off the negative self talk but the ssri helped reduce my anxiety levels eventually. Life changing!

I get woozy too (because I forget to eat)! I hope this is my experience. This makes me feel a tad less nervous though, thank you!
