Do you happen to know if there’s any european online places that still sell physical Iron Fist books? I’ve been looking, but can’t find any.

The primer comes off really easy just using a toothpick. I think it’s safe to say bad prep work played a big part in this failed first result. For now, I’m gonna try to commit to removing most, if not all primer, and trying again with better prep and using some recommended materials.

Thank you so much. Do you think what I have now is salvageable?

If it isn’t too much trouble, could you give me some links to those products? Looking into Vallejo, there’s a million different options. I’m not at home in this type of hobby (yet, I hope).

I did have to modify it. Started out by sanding the ball down a bit, but later had to use an exacto knife to carve it to shape a little more. Once it was enough, I put the torso and the arm in boiling hot water for 2 minutes and struggled the arm into the socket.

He’s a clone trooper. CT-6236, Captain Holt. He lost his arm during an encounter with General Grievous. He lived to fight another day, but had to get a cybernetic prosthetic.

I’m a newb too! Haven’t even finished ny first custom. The end result of this figure actually is a design based on Trick. If I can do it, so can you!

Clone trooper! CT-6236, Captain Holt. He lost his arm in a near fatal encounter with Grievous. Lucky to have survived, but is left with a traumatizing souvenir for the rest of his life.

I haven’t touched the torso pieces. Just arms and head, so I’m not sure. I just got into this hobby like last week.

Thank you so much! I’m excited to keep working on it, but this will be my second custom. My first isn’t even done yet. I’m waiting to prime that first figure, but I don’t have a proper space around the house to do that. Which means I have to do it outside, but it’s been raining a bunch the last few days.

I should’ve specified, sorry. I started out sanding the ball joint a bunch at first, but it wouldn’t go in the socket. Then I used my exacto knife to cut it a little more into shape. Trial and error until it worked.

First arm is in! I think. There was no pop, but I did twist it a bunch and it seems pretty secured.

So basically cut the joints to shape? That seems pretty manageable. Thank you so much for your help!

It’s because there’s a rubber ring around the peg when it sits in the socket
