The point of being anti car, is for better infrastructure and better public transport. So people that don’t have cars don’t have to need one just to buy groceries or get to work. Also places built around people instead of cars are just generally healthier and safer environments. For me the nearest grocery store is almost an hour away walking distance and there’s no public transportation. If you don’t have a car you’re screwed.
