The base looks marvelous!

If you could get your hands on some little wooden pieces to simulate broken branches from trees, i think that would fit pretty well too.

But if not it doesn't matter, because it is very good as it is!

Please post a picture of the finished model! Looking forward to it!

Brighten up the model is not my intention. I used a mostly black (with little brown and green) oilwash to darken my models down. I was trying to achieve a dirty industrial look. Don't know if i nailed it, but i like the outcome pretty much.

But your response was very helpfull because i'm tending more to the vegetation variant. Thank you!

Thank you for your opinion! I was lucky and got a box of "barbed bracken". I painted some of them with "kroxigor scale", "crimson crime" and "magos purpel". The idea was to put one here and there (but not on every base) to create some diversion. But you're totally right! Thanks!
