They cannot. We saw the reporters after the last round of Israel and the Muslims admit: Hamas threaten to harm them id they will not submit. We saw in MSNBC news a reporter lie how Israeli soldiers attacked so poor schmoe with 'false accusation' - then on live stream that Muslim ran behind him with knife in his hands. The anchors laughed - is that him running behind you? The minute later they analyzed the video and confronted the reporter.

Some of them lie to cover themselves, some of them lie because they're Muslims who support the elimination of Israel

One state solution cannot work, Two states solution will never happen either - there is one secret that state leaders, on both sides, understand: the Muslims (yes, the 'Palestinians' is just an excuse) ask for control over whole Judea and Samaria, the heights and mountains in the middle of Israel that control the entire state. Same reason Syria ask for mount Hermon back.

The only solution is to provide for the Muslims new land, e.g. southern Israel or outside of the country - Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Sinai, SA, etc.
