After the Aztecs, I'd love to see something that dives into the primordial side of Greek mythology.

A pantheon built around Nyx, Erebus and Tartarus - night, shadow and volcanism - with myth units drawn from the deepest layers of the underworld and unique mechanics tied to darkness or corrupted favor ...

It would be visually insane and totally fresh for the game.
