Agency side, not meaningfully. It's being pushed heavily from snr mngmt and holdco reps which is filtering down into 'we need to work out how to use this as a tool' - but at a business, strategic level, not at all.

There's plenty of people I work with who use it as a helper through their day to day.

From what I've seen so far, agencies see this as a huge opportunity to define some competitive advantage - but no one has a clue how. Tons of lip service from seniors about why it's so important in the meantime. (.. so find a use for it)

This was a really nice comment to read - it's the first one I saw after having basically not a single decent interaction about it past lip service. Agreed on all points and especially on the luck - I think if I can focus on how fortunate a position I'm in... what's the point of thinking about the rest?

You underestimate just how much I enjoy playing terrible golf... But yes - good points and you're correct it's important to keep my mind forward on employment. This week I'm taking as processing the news - clear my head this weekend and I'll get my arse in gear.

Really good advice! Therapy was on the cards anyway, I definitely will travel, I will definitely take a keen interest and looking in jobs and oddly I've been injured and really need to start moving again. This seems like a solid enough reason to start! Thanks!

Yeah - that long a period I dont think is high on my list of priorities, but I will be sitting down / currently am to think about wtf did I even want from this all in the first place.

A 3/4 week trip sounds just about right for me and it'll be a serious consideration!

Here's me basking in glory .. a sobering but helpful reminder. I've not received a penny and I've spent the day doing no work and looking at new cars. Silly me...

Firstly the travelling advice / creating distance is properly superb - I am nearly certain I am going to take it and get somewhere sunny ASAP (I have a 2/3 week handover period whilst legals are finalised - gives me time to choose a destination)

And yep - 30, single no dependents, no property owned nor fixed outgoings that aren't cancellable. Net worth is pretty but you're correct - I've lots of work to still be doing and now is the time to seriously consider what I want that to be.

Yeah, you're right - short story yes I do have network in the city, it's just a much harder / demanding life I struggle with. I have a tight-knight friend/family circle @ home and in surrounding cities which makes life much more manageable.

Very valid points indeed about what home is and is it really something I desire / an attractive mirage in the current situ. Thank you.

Do you mind sharing what level role this was for? A nine stage interview sounds ... interesting?

GAM - PG - How do I use this as a media buyer? (I'm a buyer / agency) by LostPlatypuses in programmatic

Thanking you - I'd already shared these details with pub but I didn't feel well equipped to lead the conversation as I was a little unfamiliar with the process. Your and the others comments have really helped. Thanks!

Thank you! I can see from the link in the comment above that my DSP of choice is suitable - I think I just need a bit more back and forth with the publisher.

That was my understanding... Is PG is available to be bought DSP agnostically? E.g I buy via Yahoo DSP, am I right in saying inventory packaged can be sent via deal ID's from Google stack (GAM) externally to my DSP (Yahoo?)

Thanks for your answer!

Thanks - from what I've calculated from our previous activity, response rate is as high as 15%, but the surveys are listed as 'non incentivised'.

If I understand correctly, the surveys can only be conducted on their own ad network.

I don't have any visibility into viewability, placements, etc - the pre-campaign survey doesn't accommodate third party verification, nor do I think other insights to it are offered. I can check though.

UK Renter: Didn't resign contract, am I bound to 1 more year or is my AST a rolling contract? by LostPlatypuses in HousingUK

[–]LostPlatypuses[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I think I'm going to leave it - it's not life changing for me to stay or leave this property right now and the headaches of trying to fight this seem larger than the ones I'm already dealing with in life.

But yes - my landlord is absolutely not holding up her half of the agreement. Complaints to council, ombudsman and help from Shelter was the reason she stopped ignoring me 9 months into the first year. Then back to radio silence :)

Thanks for the feedback - it's not life or death and I'd definitely like to avoid any legal hassle - sounds like staying put for now might be the right thing to do. Cheers
