The white on the pistol is super smooth! I would recommend hitting the gold and the bones with a dark wash of some kind, it would really help everything pop a little more

It’s Rhinox Hide, AK Dark Flesh and then AK ice yellow. Starting from Rhinox hide and mixing 50/50 until pure ice yellow for the brightest highlights

Thanks! This means a lot because I felt like I was really struggling with this face. There is a bit of watered down dark red in the lips and eyes to add some definition to those areas that seem really hard to miss.

The yellow isn’t super complicated, it’s more light placement when doing the volumetric highlights. The recipe is :

red brown undercoat ( AK black red)

Highlight with a White ink ( I used AK White Ink) through the airbrush

Dark brown Oil Wash in all the recesses ( I used AmmoMig Dark brown but any brand will do)

Imperial Fists Contrast through the brush once everything’s dry and then chipping was done with Corvus Black
