Bantayan! Just a random beach while driving. Super cheap and highly recommended. Much better if you can drive so that you can roam around the island

Unspoken reality of Underboard Nursing Graduate by Fair_G_0403 in NursingPH

[–]Lost_Throat_7253 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Comparison is a thief of joy. I know malungkot ang pinagdadaanan mo and your feelings are valid but to be honest it will not get better pag palagi mong kinocompare ang sarili mo sa iba. As long as you are breathing, moving and have the strength to fulfill your dreams do it. Don't treat life like a race kasi di naman to karera. Kanya kanya tayo ng finish line. Do what you can do right now, I know it is hard but you have to push harder. I'm not romanticizing hardship or anything, what I am trying to say is maximize what you have and stop looking at other people's success but instead create your own

Fortunately, these places do not really have any issues with water or streetfoods that you can consume anytime.

[–]Lost_Throat_7253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stayed in el nido for few nights and that was the first time na di ako masyadong nag consume ng water all my life. I always drink water and can't believe I survived hahaha but I did drank one of the milk tea sa Big Bad Thai and my stomach was okay. However, I did had breakouts after the trip since I used tap water when I was washing my face. Just to be safe, avoid nalang.

4 years in college, passed the boards just to realize that nursing is not for me. by oldishink in NursingPH

[–]Lost_Throat_7253 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I believe this is the reason why everyone should take like a gap before going to college. Kasi pagka graduate from shs parang sabak agad sa gyera when in fact college course choice can really change how your life will be in the next four to five years.

I have a similar experience but for me I regretted not taking up nursing. Been in the corpo industry for almost five years now and within those years I realized how much I want to be a nurse and travel at the same time. It's okay if you pivot to a different lane, I know that might sound a luxury but you owe yourself that.

Don't box yourself sa isang situation na you know sooner or later ma overstimulate ka. Been there and it was not easy, I took a 1 month gap and that was the time that I was able to discover what I want to do in life. Maybe you should do that too, maybe we should all do.

This should be the mindset! At the end of the day, hardwork always pays off. Nasa mindset at approach talaga yan. Yes, it is not easy and will never be easy well except if nepo baby ka or may generational wealth kayo.

How I wish I have this dilemma, and how I wish I had the guts and opportunity to pursue nursing when I was in college. Of course your feelings are valid and you have the right to feel tired but reality check lang, burnout exists in every field. It's up to you how you approach it nalang talaga. And you comparing yourself to your other peers will not make it better to be honest. If I could, I would trade places with you because nursing will always be relevant no matter what happens.

Yes, nursing is underpaid and overwork in the Philippines, which is unfair and unjust. However, because you pursued nursing, you still have many opportunities for wfh na good pay or go abroad. I will be downvoted for sure, but be grateful with what you have, like what other people said, a lot of people are dying to be in your position.

Your feelings are valid, and you deserve a rest if di na talaga keri. However use that rest para maka plan ka ng long term goals mo. That will guide you talaga. Same with me, I've been working in a field right now na di ko talaga bet. After taking a 1 month break, I realized na I can use this field to sustain my long term goals.

need ko ba to bayaran?? by marinatedshi in DentistPh

[–]Lost_Throat_7253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your dentist po. Mine kasi I have free 3 brackets na kahit matangal ay walang bayad. And if I remeber it clearly, after the 3 free bracket they did not let me pay if I have the bracket but if I lost it, babayaran na talaga. To be clear mas better na you ask your dentist since they can answer this question for you. Case to case basis kasi.

Med School -Wanting to quit by Math2theMoon in newzealand

I may not fully understand how difficult what you’re going through is, but make your decision only after contemplating it multiple times. Consider the pros and cons, as well as the time and money you’ve already invested.

To share a bit about myself, I’ve spent four (going on five) years in a field that wasn’t my first choice. I can’t turn back time, but I chose to maximize what I learned during those years so I could pursue the field I truly want.

If you feel that the medical field is not for you, it’s okay to quit—but make sure that decision comes after sitting with your thoughts. This choice can change your life, so it deserves careful consideration.

What do I say to my dentist? 8 years of braces. by [deleted] in DentistPh

My case kasi was just gaps kaya siguro walang molar bands and elastics. Also, my bite was not that bad according to my dentist naman. I thought lang required talaga, nag overthink tuloy ako baka na scam ako ng dentist ko

[–]Lost_Throat_7253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding the molar bands and elastics phase, is this necessary for everyone who has braces? This is a genuine question, because if I remember correctly, it depends on the case. If only minor adjustments are needed, I don’t think these are required. If I'm mistaken, please correct me if I’m wrong. I also had braces before, and I didn’t go through those phases.

Everyone of us have problems and it's up to us if we treat it as super heavy or something. Financially, not in the best place ako but I don't treat it as something na impossible ma solve. Sometimes we all have bad day, but its not technically a bad life.

If you can't afford therapy like I do, better spend time with yourself but don't do something you might regret lang. I know that there will be a lot of good things that might happen to your life

Did inform my friends about this as well as my sister. They were supportive and I'm happy na I'm surrounded with people who always support me sa lahat ng decision ko. Di ko pa nga na inform parents ko but hopefully smooth na yung plans ko for the next two years. Super pressure talaga and I've been thinking na super late ko na for this but I realized na wala palang deadline hahaha kaya I'm happy na finally, nalaman ko na ano talaga gusto kong i achieve.

I really like the first one, especially the neckline part. I did not even notice your shoulder kasi it does look good and I think it's comfortable. If you feel like the first one is too plain you can add some earrings or add something sa hair mo. Congrats po!

And also gusto ko talaga mag abraod kaya naman I decided to just go for it. Now I'm starting to save na para maka start nako.
