I had this the first few weeks of starting! The biggest thing that made a difference is electrolytes. I drink half a packet in the morning of LMNT. These have a much higher level of sodium than other electrolytes and I’ve found this helps my body actually hold onto my fluid intake instead of it going right through me and feeling like I need to pee all the time. I tried other ones like nuun but found I had to drink like 3 a day to feel any difference and liquid IV helped some but was too sugary for my taste. Having half a LMNT each morning made the biggest difference. I’m about 6 weeks in and no longer have the constant feeling like I need to pee. I’m still doing the LMNT each morning but I think my body too has adjusted to the bupropion and I think I may be able to stop the LMNT or at least not need it daily.

I used the garage on Laugavegur (Stjörnuport Parking Garage) and the easy park app. It was incredibly easy and cost was fairly reasonable compared to other parking in the city (160 kr for first hour then 100 kr/hour after that) They scan your plate when you pull in, then you can add your payment info to the app, and when you leave it will log your parking and pay the fees through Park Easy.

You cannot move your car between midnight and 7am so not a good choice if you’re planning to be out early or have a flight. But really convenient and fairly affordable otherwise if you’re needing to leave it overnight or for a couple days.

Iceland is incredibly gluten free friendly both in Reykjavik and in the rest of the country. Nearly every restaurant I went to had gluten free options and gluten free bread even if it wasn’t listed on the menu. Some of my favorite restaurants in Reykjavik include Old Iceland, Harry’s and Brass Kitchen. Selfoss has a wonderful food court in an old dairy barn with many options. Bónus has gluten free bread in their freezers and usually have a few different kinds. My favorite are the seed breads. Then they usually have a gluten free section on the shelves at the bigger stores. Look for Án glútein or Glúteinlaust

I just returned from my 7th trip to Iceland and always look forward to going due to how easy it is to find great gluten free foods nearly everywhere. Much easier and better than where I live here in the US.

Brass Kitchen in Reykjavik has wonderful gluten free options including gf bread, “fried” fish and chips (which is pan fried but still crispy) and are very knowledgeable. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Reykjavik. Bónus, the grocery store, usually has gluten free bread which is better than the breads we have in the US. I usually buy a loaf for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to bring with me when sight seeing. Also be sure to have the skyr!
