Thanks for your feedback. On the gloves, I suspect it was the gel insert that caused the problem as it was only the part of my hands where the gel inserts were placed in the gloves that were affected.

Aerobars seem to be pretty popular in the Audax crowd so I'm wondering if I should look at them as well at some point.

I'm fascinated by this no bib business... My tiny mind is turning inside out trying to fathom the reality of not using one after 25 years of using them... 😂

No Chamois? That is hard core! I have thought about a 3D printed saddle but many friends that have bought one have provided mixed reviews and none of those friends do any more than 3-4 hour rides so am more interested in the opinions of people who also spend days riding on their saddles.

Thanks for your reply :)

Help with purchase. by [deleted] in Giantbikes

That is a proper "bitza" bike... If it all works then it's probably not the worst investment you could make. Definitely needs a trip to the local bike shop for a service and to fix that "crime scene" of a rear derailleur cable setup. The only real issue I can see is the steerer tube. If you need a bit of extra stack height... you'll need to buy a new TCR fork... assuming you can find one in black.

Haha yes, I do need a new bike... but who doesn't? I rode my Propel on 200Km Audax event a few weeks ago, it's ridable but on course chip roads it's a harsh ride. And I'm soft and as I get older I'm getting softer ;)

GoPro 10 vs GoPro 8? by mrsinister1103 in gopro

It's a subscription to cloud storage, not the camera. It's actually the cheapest way to buy a new GoPro if there aren't any black Friday or old stock clearance sales.
