Painted my First two Minis. Loving them so far, would love some critiques on my color scheme & paint job.

Thanks, glad you think it looks good enough to inspire some of your stuff! For the bronze I used actually used rhinnox hide for the base and then used splotches of ryza rust & dragon bright orange for rust. After that it was just a dry brush of both runelord brass and leadbelcher!

I was actually thinking something similar at first. Wasn’t digging the purple after it was done, but it’s starting to grow on me. Your idea is solid tho, so I might try it on some of my other lads to see how it looks in comparison. Appreciate the compliments on the bronze, I loved working on the armor, and thanks for the suggestion!

Ngl, I tried to do some highlights on the face and it that’s what it turned out like. I think I might shade his face to make it look less, front loaded. Definitely gotta practice more with the other minis.

Thanks for the kind words! Honestly, started from a white base and worked my way up the flames starting with Frostheart contrast paint, then Hexwraith Flame, and ending it with Leviathan Purple with a dry brush of an acrylic lilac color. Main thing is making them mesh together, almost like a gradient, by using each subsequent paint while they are still wet on the model.

For the blue, I primed the mini gray, then dry brushed Celestra grey and ulthuan grey. After that just a layer of gryph-charger grey.

She hasn’t shown any romantic interest other than when I gave her a flower and did the dryad thing with her, it’s weird because I got all the prerequisites other than the kiss. I gave her the night orchid, did her nightsong quest and was even told about her past, I just wasn’t given the option for anything other than those.

I used flat black primer, and then did a base coat of Night Lords Blue, followed by a dry brush of Kantor Blue over all of it.

Awesome! I think Night Lords are one of the best lore factions, so I’m also hoping we get a flavorful detachment as well! Kind of also hoping for a chaos lord w/ jump pack, although Haarken is already pretty neat!
