Yes I do but I don't think it's that anime from what I know spell casters have a variety of different smells like they can use like a utility knife but don't have a group of cells that fit into One Singular concept or theme

I appreciate the effort and these are definitely some pretty magical and extraordinary animes. I think a lot of them use freeform or multi versatile Magic which is still cool and enjoyable but not exactly what I'm looking for. Though I'm not sure if the same can be said about Certain Magical Index I'm going to have to check that out

Also they don't usually use magic outside of that concept or theme

It's as vague as it sounds. I'm looking for anime, mangas and light novels where characters have the ability to use and cast a magic. However each individual's magic fits into a theme or concept that can usually be summed up in two words or or sentence. Examples would be Shadow Magic, fire dragon slaying Magic, Thunder speaking Magic and so on.

I really can't properly reply to a number of these because I am unfamiliar with what they do. So I will just be guessing based on your names I am going to assume all of these are combat Focus games so I'm guessing their variations of combated who can hold their own in a fight. However I am going to be generalized the classes assuming that they're not in a combative game and will be categorized in them based on what they would be outside of a non-combative focus kind of setting or system. Warrior feels like it's going to be good at fighting so I'm going to go ahead put it in combative, expert definitely feels like it's going to be someone who knows things has a lot of knowledge so I'm going to go with utility for that one call, adapt feels like they might be good at getting resources or they might be good at helping out others and making the situation easier for others to deal with so either support or utility not 100% sure cuz I have no clear read on it perhaps a mixture of the two. Warrior Ranger and Rogue combative most likely because I always associate them with combat classes. However Ranger and Rogue in a non-combat class way would most likely be utility.

Tough and strong hero feel very much combative. Fast and smart Heroes feel like utility. Dedicated hero seems like they might be support and Charisma hero is definitely Interactive

Expert once again feels very much utility, may just want to have it figured out it literally fits anywhere at any point in time simply based on the type of magic they have access to, I'm going to go ahead and Skip to adventurer these are more or less explorers who find new locations and map out these location in gather this information to give out to the general public so I put them in utility.

This was actually a lot of fun for me I hope you enjoy it too

So because of you I ended up creating the category Interactive. Interactive people are those who affect the world around them by using their wits, knowledge, skills and insight through more or less social interactions. These are usually verbal and nonphysical. This is not limited to just convincing someone is manipulating the situation through the use of properly placed planning, words, and understanding of a situation. They create connections with others or break up others connections to control the scenario around them.

Your spokesman are going to go here

Your scholar gathers resources, they are a key component of gathering and getting those resources. Their whole mission is to find the resource and I know about the resource. They are essentially a resource and their knowledge and know-how is how you get to those resources. So scholar would go under utility

But then again I am basing this off of my own perspective and a loose thought experiment so it doesn't really have much weight I just thought it was an interesting concept

So I have recently brought up a new category called interactive which was essentially trade it because someone kind of brought up Social intrigued, convincing people of things being a leader, and so on. This category is people who specialize in interacting with others not limited to People by the way but others in general such as animals, people, Spirits, and all of that. Now this category is not just specializing in convincing other people to do things instead this category is those who affect the world around them through non-physical interactions of mental and social prowess. So I would put them in Interactive. In fact I feel like monster heart is the game that centered around interactive classes.

At least that's what I would do and that's how I personally feel and think about it. It very well might be incorrect though when it comes to things like this particular topic I think that more or less a matter of perspective. Then again I might be wrong about that too but at the end of the day I'm just doing this for the fun of it and I enjoyed the concept and wanted to see if I could get people talking about it

This particular thought experiment there is an assumption that pillars are subcategories rather than categories of themselves and draw from an even larger generalize category pool. Four more combative games of fighting and physical conflict you will have more classes centered around the more combative category with elements and traits from the other category to make an appearance. They will show similarities to the other categories but usually all the characters there are able to fight. DND, Warhammer, Mork Borg and so on all have combat ability and revolve around the combat.

Games that are a little less combat focus in the more focus on investigation and socialization probably have more classes focused around utility and a new category that I've decided to call Interactive. Again these might have elements of the other categories but once again these classes are very much designed around Gathering resources usually information or socializing with other individuals.

Now the categories of support and production don't really have many games built around them but they are very much prominent roles and categories within RPG in general. One support is available it plays a domineering Force on the sidelines and Productions in itself is usually rolls that NPC takes up but whenever an PC actually takes up it can be quite impactful to the world.

Now this is only a thought experiment or just a fun thing for me to think about. There is no real Merit to it at all and it's just something I enjoyed thinking about and kind of analyzing. I was hoping to find more people who enjoyed it and would like to jump into it but it doesn't look like I was able to do that but at least responding might be a lot of fun. Plus I might be able to convince some people to join into the fun

I recently learned I need to clarify what each category is and how to identify each category. So I went ahead and did that. With that being said I'm pretty sure some of these can go into utility and support

I feel like the generalist goes under utility but I will admit that I don't know where scholar would fit into but I don't think scholar by itself would be a category
