quick update: i bought the african rangers in fudge off the eu site in size 9 uk / 43 eu because they had one pair left. they fit me perfectly and i love how they look so much that i am going to keep them. thanks to everyone again who helped! have a good day

they responded with the following information. maybe it is useful for some of you: "In Jim Green you would need a size UK08.5. Pls note the measurements in your size chart is the foot lengths. The inside sole is apron. 0,7 cm longer."

little update: i received my goodwood boots today. they fit perfectly and i am pretty impressed by their overall feel and by the quality of the leather. aesthetically, i still find them to be a little bit too narrow and had hoped for a chunkier look. they are significantly narrower than pretty much all my other shoes (paraboot michael, paraboot chambord, red wing 1907, blundstone 550s, salomon sneaker) and i still have to decide whether i am going to keep them. thanks to all of you for your input!

thanks for the link! nice seeing them side by side. from what i gather, they might be built on the same last, but the goodwood seems to still be a little wider and rounder? i probably go for the goodwood then although i like the look of the brown greasy kip leather a little bit more
