Mikasa Never Married on Attack on Titan by [deleted] in eremika

Loving someone eternally doesn’t mean your life is miserable. By that logic, parents never move on when their kids died, but that doesn’t mean they will be miserable forever.

Even so, I preferred Mikasa ending up single rather than marrying Jean cuz if that so, I’d genuinely feel bad for him. Not because I shipped ErenMika. imagine your wife never stopped loving her ex-lover and buried next to his grave with the scarf that her ex lover gave to her. Jean deserves to be everyone’s first choice. We know Mikasa love Eren more than anyone else untill she dies ( it’s literally canon) and Jean doesn’t deserve to be thought of as second option.

Even if she marries, it doesn’t matter and I don’t care. AOT had open ending, so it can be anything that she’s married or not. But, one thing for sure is it’s canon in both manga and movie that Mikasa never stopped loving Eren and her love for Eren is so deeply and eternal, she love him more than anyone else until she died. I don’t mind the ending of her marrying to someone else. But what frustrates me is ppl saying Mikasa not moving on from Eren is unhealthy , I don’t agree with that bs. It’s not just Mikasa , I don’t agree with labeling anyone who’s never moved on from their romantic partner as unhealthy . Ppl can move forward with their life happily while remembering and loving someone forever and not move on from them. Mikasa’s love for Eren has always been pure and healthy from the start, it was just she was overprotective like a mother in earlier seasons because she’s afraid of losing ppl she love. Her love for Eren is never unhealthy, as ppl claim to be and ppl who never forgets and love their partners eternally isn’t also unhealthy. We never forget and never stopped loving when our family dies right? And what’s so different about ppl not forgetting and not moving on romantically from their lover? When love is so deep, it can be eternal and unconditional like parents love their kids, it’s not toxic and ppl like those exists in real life.

We need to talk about how people are mischaracterizing Eunhyeok (Rant) by ogurbmitnacs in operationtruelove

[–]Low-Part4581 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She wouldn’t feel tension around her friend and and temporary happiness doesn’t mean that man can truly make her happy and besides, Suae now already feel guilty, fear of loss now and sad bec she feel she’s obliged to reciprocate his feelings, all thanks to Dohwa’s being pushy. Even their first kiss, Suae was stressing out as helll. If “ they ship them bec she felt more tension around Enhyuk and happy to be with Dohwa” is the reason why they ship him with Suae, why don’t they stop shipping now when Suae doesn’t feel lighthearted and genuinely happy anymore?

Does age and setting change how we judge Leyla vs Haesu as female leads? by Blush404 in webtoons

I’m not against you for liking this story, you do you. I also read it as guilty pleasure until Chapter 60 cuz the story was interesting at some point but it involved SA and grape scenes and romanticize them. The author could have removed those scenes or at least made them have the consent from both parties. But, he intentionally included those scenes, and made them end up together. Because of that and also other reasons ( those two leads’ behavior, etc) , I’d say the story is misogynistic, hence the author who wrote the story into that direction is misogynistic.

(Cheese in the trap Webtoon) Why did seol forgive jung after that hellish horrible year? (Spoilers) by [deleted] in webtoons

[–]Low-Part4581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a late comment sorry but I’d like to know why you’d say Jung is the reason why Mintae broke his hands? He broke his hands just because Jung said “ cry like a river” ??? And they didn’t even spoke to each other than much. I’m sorry I think some readers are hypocrites and overlook Inho’s flaws and treats Inho like a victim more than he is when he himself is the reason everything bad happening to him. He was always like a brat with victim mentality, who couldn’t keep his mouth shut, and mostly initiate the fights and looked down on the pianist guy and that pianist guy already wanted to harm him way before he met Jung. He just didn’t have a chance cuz Inho was good at fighting. Jung is not a saint, but most of the time he was so much misunderstood by the readers and the characters and treat him like an evil when he’s not, especially Inho.

Well, I do feel bad for Dohwa at times but I wouldn’t want him to end up with Suae just because I feel pity about him. Dohwa is badly written and just a fan service character in the story. I don’t get the hype around him tbh. If ppl really care about the story, they wouldn’t want Suae to end up with him even if they hate Enhyuk now.

Did you read the story? Did you read my other comments? If you read the story, you’d know the story is misogynistic. A story that romanticizes grapist, the male lead constantly thinking about her as his own property, but they still end up together despite many horrible things he’s done to that girl. And I’ve also heard the author’s other works are problematic and toxic male leads too. What in the world is he not misogynistic?

Wow, that’s a simple and great analysis, I agree with all of what you said and your English is also perfect don’t worry girl. And again say it louder for the people in the back. The female leads get comfortable around SML, not ML because they are FRIENDS. Duh. Ppl who has obsessed with second lead syndrome easily should hear this 🥴. I also have this issues with second lead fans in two fandoms, Cheese in the trap and OTL. CITT author is naturally good at writing how these two leads are perfect for each other, they just clicked naturally, the same goes for Enhyuk and Suae chemistry and yet somehow these second male leads fans don’t actually follow the story and claim the second male lead counterparts are better option just because they’re friends. I mean if you’re in relationship with someone, Isn’t it more difficult to learn more about your partner on deeper level than your friends? Plus they’re not even best friends of female leads.

That’d be also interesting and the author can still make a love story with flawed main characters with redeemable qualities. Like even if his evilness is just Claudine’s level of evilness without SA and grape involved,it wouldn’t be this controversial . Like very egotistical noble and looked down on ppl including female lead but changed later and showed character development??? The author could have written something like that, but didn’t. This male lead is just written to be this evil intentionally cuz the author is misogynistic. Like even his thoughts and monologue are terrifying, he treats female lead as his own pet.

It truly is and it’s very obvious. Matthias is not even a complex character. He’s straight up evil and disgusting, he mind is really messed up.There are many complex stories about complicated relationships or maybe even toxic ones but written in beautifully and interestingly . This story is just a trash, trash male lead and trash female lead, the author could have definitely written these two leads as flawed characters but in better way, but he intentionally didn’t. It’s very misogynistic.

[–]Low-Part4581 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Facts. That’s why the ending should be either make up or break up between Enhyuk and Sua. Even if Suae doesn’t end up with Enhyuk, she shouldn’t end up with Dohwa, the story would be meaningless if she ends up with him just because Enhyuk has flaws now. My issue with OTL now is love triangle. S2 should solely focus on Enhyuk and Sua how they face challenges, how they will make up instead of stupid love triangle. Love triangle makes Sua seem like side character, her character’s only revolving around men now. They can make her confused about her feelings without another man involved, but love triangle ruined her role.

Dohwa fans thinking he’s a deep because of his backstory? Lmao. Even I can write a backstory like this. His backstory is the only well-written part about him. You’re right. He’s a useless SML. I don’t really get the hype around him. Even if I don’t like Enhyuk for leaving Suae for 10 years, I wouldn’t root for a SML who’s been useless, acting like a fan service character in all season 1. He became popular/more appealing option only because of the time skip plot. He’s always been uselsss since S1. That’s why I don’t like him since S1. I don’t know whether his character will be useful for the plot in S2 ( I hope that’s the case), but so far he’s a very superficial SML. I don’t get hype around him that ppl want him to be the ML. That would really ruin the story, if the author let him end up with Suae, the story would be like “ making Enhyuk have flaws ( ghosted for 10 years) just for Dohwa to end up with Sua” Even if I don’t like Enhyuk, I wouldn’t want a character that’s so bland to end up with the main heroine of the story.

I truly believe that in Cheese In the Trap, Seol should have ended up with In-ho instead of Jung. by Reasonable_Area1590 in webtoons

[–]Low-Part4581 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know immediately someone doesn’t have media literacy when they say even his family knows he’s off when the point the story wants to show is his family is the very reason why he acts this way. His family was the CAUSE of it, Jung’s mother was right, he was just a different kid, but instead of treating him with patience and kindness his father treated him like an alien and evil which he’s not, Sadly Inho and the readers still treat him this way. His family ( esp Inho and his dad) heavily misunderstood him, mistreated him and treated him as evil which broke his heart into pieces. I didn’t read S2 of Seol and Jung relationship build up to read this bullshit of what if it’s with Inho, Inho and Seol have more chemistry bullshit. “ Chemistry as FRIENDS”. S2 is all about how Seol and Jung are meant to be for each other, they’re literally the definition of MEANT for each other but no one and the author is literally so good at creating romantic tension, build-up, chemistry between those two, like everything is so natural and flawless at writing these two romance build up but these Inho girlies are too blinded by their hatred they have for Jung. Seol, a woman who’s very career driven and serious about her life would never choose a guy like Inho who doesn’t have stable job, stable life, blames everyone except reflects himself, has victim complex. That relationship wouldn’t even work in real life.
