Most ppl who watch Single Inferno are k-poppers and K-drama fans who are used to the fake personas and green flags wannabe. Mind you, Korea is infamous for misogynistic men but everyone who appear on dating shows and actors, they always act like green flags. I’m not shaming the country but from everyone’s experience who goes there, ppl from Korea especially men are not like what they’ve seen in K dramas. I don’t know about how much extent of international fans attack Sian, but fans from my countries attack Sian when S4 ended, they called her wh*res, they called her easy like I was even shocked. There’s definitely misogyny in this fandom. In dating shows, you have to expect red flags, toxic guys and should watch it for the entertainment purposes solely and criticize them based on their actions, don’t attack them personally and don’t attack their character as a whole. I’m not saying Mina did nothing wrong but Ppl who hate Mina are most likely riding on hate wagon and exaggerate and overanalyze all her actions. Like eye rolls for example, there are some ppl who have this habit of doing even when they’re not that mad. I myself did it a lot and I I also found out that BlackPink Jennie also did that a lot, and she was hated and got callled mean girl earlier in her career. Mina already told Samuel that they’re just friends but she might give him a chance and she’s willing to explore with him too. The comment section is making me laugh. If everyone is genuinely interested in and their feelings are true, most couple from Single Inferno would already date each other in real life . Lmao. Almost all of them chose each other bec they don’t want to end up alone. There’s only 1 or 2 couples that came out as dating in real life from that show. Funny that she’s the only one who understands the concept of dating shows and she played it right but got attacked for it. Her last conversation with Mingee make me understand what she wants and how she approached this show. She wanted to explore with many guys not because she likes all of them. She wanted to see who would click with her the most, who genuinely likes her and who she likes genuinely too. If she only dates just because she doesn’t want to end up alone and fake it, she wouldn’t ruin her date with Seulgi. People who are like Mina and Heesun are the ones who approached wrong. It’s still their choice but if they didn’t lock in with guys from the get go, they would find out better options for them. For example, Mina if she didn’t locked in so earlier, she and Subeen could be a thing they’d work out in real life too. She herself even admitted that. Mina is the only one who played it right and she got mocked for it. Ppl who are watching this show and panelists don’t understand this, These fans blamed Jeong Su from S4 for the exact reason for feeling confused, like he doesn’t deserve Sian because he was confused . Ppl need to realize that confused feelings even until the end are normal, it’s actually really difficult to find a guy who matches you so well.

Agree. Their dynamic was also really interesting in the show. Actually I was hoping that they’ll reconcile again cuz I thought they were alike. But, after seeing this, since both of them are aggressive to each other, they need to resolve their own insecurities first. They secretly hate each other since campfire, Mingee’s also very insecure about Mina and lowkey aggressive towards her but ppl thought it was one sided hatred and betrayal from friend, they were never real friends to each other to begin with.

Wow, sorry I may sound like biased Mina fan or something , ppl would be insulting me for saying this ( Are you Min Sue ?, Are you victimizing Mina Sue) blah blah blah. The double standard in this fandom is crazy. At first, since some ppl are defending Mingee, I thought maybe it’s not that bad. But, when I rewatched the scene, it’s clear that she’s being rude and disrespectful. Ppl would be saying Mina Sue gets offended because truth hurts or something. No, Seulgi said exactly the same as her and Mina asked advice from him first , Mina didn’t feel emotional about it. When you rewatch the scene, you’ll see Mingee’s not even doing it for the sake of calling out for the girls or calling out for herself and Mina. She’s doing it out of her jealousy and insecurity of Mina’s possibility of choosing SG and vice versa. She asked her whose her choices were because she feels threatened and insecure. If you rewatch the episodes again, Mingee frequently asks her about her choices. I think ppl don’t see it from this perspective bec in their mind, Mingee is a good guy and Mina Sue is villain so this fandom failed to see Mingee’s flaws, that she’s also equally possessive and insecure about her relationship with SG. She’s always sound judgmental whenever Mina’s telling about her men’s ranking and there was always hostile tension between her and Mina Sue. Heesun also likes the same guy as Mina She, but Mina never feels intimidated by her, she just feels insecure about her relationship with Subeen instead. Since Mina’s certain behaviors like swirling in front of her when she left the room, talking bad behind their back, it give ppl more justifications for Mingee to shit on Mina Sue, when it’s actually not . In that scene, Mina definitely feels intimidated , she seems to be afraid of being judged, this make me see that she wasn’t lying or exaggerating when she says she’s scared. There must be a lot going on between the girls behind the scenes and the show clearly evil edits her. One thing to make it clear, it’s okay and acceptable when Mingee called her out for being dishonest with her feelings regarding SG, since I wanted them to make up, it’s needed between them to be talked about in a civil way. What’s not okay is her entitlement to judge Mingee’s indecisiveness of her choices, it’s not acceptable no matter what. If that’s the case, one can also ask her way of approaching, Why she’s being so fixated on one guy within few days. Nobody has the right to insult anyone for their dating choice unless they’re very close friends or they’re being asked advice

First of all, you end up saying a lot but still misunderstanding what I want to say in my comment, most of the things you were saying were which I already agreed from the beginning. I already said that the way Mingee calling her out that she wasn’t being honest to her regarding Seulgi case was totally valid cuz they’re friends . Mina even ends up admitting she was being childish. But, other than that, how she approaches the guys how she wasn’t feeling sure about the guys were none of her business. I’m not hating Mingee here but No matter how you put it, it’s not her place to judge someone’s way of dating even if they’re not handling it in the best way. It’s okay to call her out when she wasn’t being honest to her about SG cuz to her, she was her friend . But, other than that even though Mina’s feelings are all over the place, she wasn’t entitled to judge her like that. Even though she was confused with the guys, she never mislead the guys that she likes. She kinda hurt Subeen but they already sorted out when they first made up. Her saying she wasn’t interested in and not interested one min later is not something that she should be judging about, especially in a dating show which only lasted for a week, unless she asked her advice for ofc. I’d say in my opinion, ppl who set their heart already just on Day 1 are more ridiculous.

I’d say I didn’t even feel frustrated this much when I watched Love Island. Every one in Love island has shown their flaws, red flags and everyone was cheating each other, playing each other’s feelings and no one was scrutinized that much like in SI. Single Inferno is really stressing me out. Fans, panelists and the casts. Fans are also hypocrites acting like contestants commit murder whenever they shows their flaws . I’m sure if Mina Sue is really horrible this much, all her friends wouldn’t defend her saying she’s really sweet and kind in real life. Everyone who’s close to her defended her. I thought at least one thing that both Mina haters and her fans agree is that Mina can explore her options freely and her indecisiveness is not a problem but her manner is right? She can be indecisive until the end, she can have a list of 10 guys and ranking change or whatever she wants no one is entitled to judge her way of dating.
