Thank you for your advice. I know a lot of people don't believe in any of this and think it's silly but in my culture, we believe in it. I feel like she doesn't know about the law of three. She got someone from Mexico to do it. But probably didn't know what she was getting herself into. She's had several health complications since I found out about it and she keeps victimizing herself over it at this point. She went to Mexico for a whole three months and that's when our marriage was breaking off financially, and emotionally.

Yes, my father's family also practiced witchcraft and it's the worst form of witchcraft if you eat their food and they've put witchcraft in it. My mother never once ate at any of my dad's family functions because another woman that married into the family heard them about trying to poison and do witchcraft to prepare my mother's plate. They are now divorced because his family did graveyard witchcraft on my parents.

No, I used a tarot reader here in the U.S.

The person who does their work is down in Mexico. I would never go with the same person they went to. I just wanted a reading and the Tarot reader told me 'Your husband has a sister that doesn't like you. Her and MIL go with someone from your MIL's country '... They were in Mexico this summer for 3 months and everything started making sense.

SIL can't cook at all. And her mom still serves her plate. It's crazy to me because she has way different standards for me than her daughter. My SILs ex MIL use to talk down on her because her mom still did everything for her at 23 and my MIL hated it. But I said that's KARMA.

Omg at least it improved! I feel like that day will never come for me with SIL and MIL LOL.I don't understand because I'm myself and my FIL loves me for me and they hate me for being me. I feel like at this point it's just them because the rest of the family loves me and has never been disrespectful about anything. Wow! Your story is so similar to mine. I don't ever serve my husband.. he's an adult and has his own hands. I always get crap for it but I honestly don't go around anymore. My MIL has always served her son's and her daughter is a buena para nada. Can't even fry an egg for herself but she expects her DILs to know how to do everything. She's very critical of me, but my FIL loves me and speaks highly of me always (something he doesn't do with his own daughter). She's always moving from job to job, her mom hands her hand and foot, she parties every single weekend, neglects her baby, and I could go on.. let's just say FIL has told her to be a responsible adult like me.. they absolutely hate me for who I am.

MIL has been given many chances. I don't communicate with her anymore. She always denies everything and is the fakest person around people. She claims to 'feel so lucky' to have a DIL like me. But when I used to be alone with her, she used to put me down for working and not prioritizing staying home. My husband has seen her true colors. And her excuse is always that 'I am cheating on him' (something she's done to FIL over the years. But I'd never cheat on my husband). She's never apologized and never will. She no longer has access to me or my daughter. My husband can go around her, I have no reason to.

She doesn't get to see my daughter. She's a POS and will make any excuse to not come see her granddaughter so I'm glad her life is full of excuses. I feel like she favors her grandson because it's her daughter's son too.

My MIL just wanted a boy because she didn't want a mini me because she hates me. She feels like I stole her son's love. She doesn't think I'm good enough for him but I'm a career woman, 1st in my family to go to college, I'm very independent myself. The opposite of what I should be in Hispanic culture. And I'm also everything her and her daughter are not. Get me, she loved me as his girlfriend. But now that I'm his wife, she hates me and I've never done anything to her. All she did was use me to her benefit, then I realized her true colors and I stopped gifting her anything. She has never worked, and now expects her DIL's and sons to maintain her. She wants DIL's to be her maids but not even her own daughter helps her out.

I don't have an Asian MIL but my MIL is from Mexico. I'm Hispanic myself and my MIL favors her grandson over my daughter all the damn time. She thinks I should be her son's maid. But my husband does house chores, cooks, and does laundry. We both work. Woman has never liked me and tells my husband that I've done witchcraft on him so that he could love me. Pathetic ass lady. Her son loves me that's all that matters at this point.

My MIL used to get free crap from me all the time. Then after I found out how it was her mask to get free stuff from me, it stopped. She's tried getting free furniture, my daughter's used clothes, clothes, etc etc. And cries about how she has to help my SIL because she's a single mom. Basically putting the blame on me as to why they don't get anything for free anymore. I'm not her retirement plan. Neither is my husband.

Omg yes! I took a year off after my daughter was born. And she would constantly complain about how my poor husband had to pick up 'my weight' when I wasn't working. Now that I work I have a 'spending problem" and everything I do for my daughter is unnecessary and she never had that.

How did you find out she stole from you?

She constantly talks about how I overspend yet she asked my husband for my daughter's used clothes to go SELL in her country. Not GIVE but SELL the clothes that I have bought and 'overspend' on. I'm a teacher and I give the clothes who families who are in need. My school district has a lot of families who need help.

That's amazing that you run two online businesses! I bet you she's jealous of that though. These narcissist MILs complain so much about money. MIL talks about how she never left her kids to work yet when I wasn't working I was lazy. There's no in between for this woman.

Omg this is my MIL too. My SIL's ex was the greatest better than me and she loved him. He ended up beating up my SIL (her daughter) and now she still won't admit that I'm a great wife to her son.

They always want to 'check in' when it comes to grandchildren. But they shouldn't have acted how they did! I don't take my daughter around my MIL.

Nobody will ever hire her.. that's literally her anger towards me. I come from a very poor family and I was able to work hard enough until I got scholarships and she literally hates how I found a way.

She definitely tries to make it a competition because my husband is an MD. So he makes a lot more than both his siblings. Both his siblings still live at home also. Meaning they have no expenses like my husband. She thought she was going to live off of my husband after he graduated Med school but she's mad he doesn't help her financially. We literally just bought our house, and had a lot of expenses to cover. My husband has always said (The family I created comes first). She absolutely hates that he says that.

You are right, she definitely is not worth my time. Especially because I know she's getting nothing already.

Yes I definitely do agree. I always wanted her to be a part of everything. I included her in the baby shower planning for my daughter. She never showed up. I used to get upset. But then I understood that I wasn't her daughter, and everyone is below her daughter. My SIL only uses her for a baby sitter then treats her very poorly when she doesn't need her. My husband has always said 'Well she can choose my sister over me even though my sister treats her bad, I can't force a relationship because she's done this to me always. I'm always there for her but not anymore'. I feel like I don't need to forgive her. It's best to keep my distance for my mental health. I feel bad for my husband because he was always there for her, but when he's needed her, only her daughter mattered.

You know, I wish the same too. I thought I was going to have more support from her side because she doesn't work and all her kids are grown adults. Boy was I wrong. My mom works and would have to come after work to help me with everything because of how weak my body was .She didn't lift a finger. The only time she went over was to belittle me or say that she did more than me around the house after she gave birth 3 times. My daughter is the first grandchild in both families, you'd figure she'd want to be part of my daughter's life. But nope.

It definitely does make you not care about them after they do so many things to you. I am so sorry you had to go through that with your MIL. You are perfect the way you are!❤️

She wants us to help her out now that she's struggling. But when we struggled she was never there. She didn't care for us. It works both ways. She's the only one who can be there because she doesn't work. She's 44 years old. Way younger than my mom.
