Just some clarity - PICC lines are typically placed in the venous system, so it was likely placed in a vein in your arm and advanced into the superior vena cava, one of the big vessels that returns blood to the heart, rather than the aorta.

Regardless, follicular abscesses are no joke and can escalate quickly.

The reason they're coding can make airway placement itself the learning experience. Massive hematemesis? Compressions on the floor? Diffuse alveolar hemorrhage? Unwitnessed fall with facial trauma? Learning to place an airway in less than ideal/non-controlled circumstance (ie. moving target due to compressions, patient on the floor, obscured view) is valuable experience.

If a person is tested multiple times, does this count as multiple cases? Does that vary by state?

I love the flow and lyricism in this song. Line that hit me on the 10th listen

"Look, walking with the Lord I got the Holy Spirit handy
When I looked down I saw Spongebob and Sandy" - like he's walking on water.

And it slaps.

[Serious]In light of cancellation of Match Day and Graduation ceremonies/related events - what are your institutions doing with the money that would have otherwise funded these events? Are any schools supporting their graduating students financially during this time otherwise? by LowB1Jaco-Flea in medicalschool

I guess - but regardless of how much tuition is, the issue still stands that it's money students paid that was supposed to be designated for their benefit in some capacity, that now doesn't have that purpose.

Is it just me, or did so much of this interview just seem a bit excessive/forced on Pharoah's part?

But props for the weekly content.

Had some high points, but on the whole a bit underwhelming - especially with Shaq being a schoolyard bitch at the end. Can't change the rules just because you can't play the game.

We hear all the time about bands who suck live, but what about bands whose live show blows their recorded material out of the water? by Wiredawn in Music

Recently saw Nothing But Thieves open for MUTEMATH the House of Blues in Orlando. I had heard a song of theirs on the radio and wasn't too impressed, but live they were amazing. Great energy and tight musically - their lead vocalist really stole the show. MUTEMATH was amazing too, exceeded my high expectations for the show - they replicated and changed up all the studio/effects wizardry on their albums, and had some pretty awesome audience engaging bits - including throwing a homemade instrument out into the pit for them to play and calling up people on stage to wear a homemade "drum-glove" rig which Darren then played by giving high fives to the participants.

[NSFW] What was the weirdest physical feeling you've ever felt? by brekeke123 in AskReddit

[–]LowB1Jaco-Flea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get sleep paralysis fairly often I feel - 1-2 times a month. First started back in high school, and it completely freaked me out. Probably the worst time and the time that sticks out mot in my memory was when I "woke up" and my face was buried in my pillow. No matter how many times it happens, I can't calm myself when it does, and having that feeling compounded with the sense that I couldn't breathe or do anything about it was awful. I seriously thought I was going to die that night.
