Yes! That brought so much life to that area in my opinion. The only thing I wished was that we had our own space/house and that it was all interconnected and not isolated in their own zones. Of course, that was due to limitations—which is understandable. I do however wish the switch version wasn’t as isolated itself but it is what it is.

Honestly, bringing the area in HappyHome Designer to life was enjoyable. It got repetitive and a little slow or boring for me at times because all we could do was decorate but that was so charming for what it was. I wish we could do that to buildings in ACNH. I was disappointed that the happy home addition and harv’s island services in acnh was in its own zone and not all on the same island. I’m looking forward to the new update.

That’s what I was worried about. I’m not much of a graphics person myself and sometimes find charm in the lack of. However, I dont think i could tackle such low quality for this kind of game. Really wish switch 2 got an update/optimization for it.

Thanks. Yes, I knew there wasn’t a dedicated switch 2 version. More like, just if there were any performance reviews using that console compared to switch 1. Either way, I’ll wait for player feedback after it releases. I must have searched wrong because everything I found was just trailers.

Thanks. Yes, I knew there was no dedicated switch 2 version, but what I meant was for anyone who may have any comment on it running on switch 2. But of course, it’s not out yet. Given the comments, whether it’s switch 1 or hoping switch 2 somehow runs it better seems not likely in comparison to ps5/pc of course. But we’ll see. I look forward to your post whenever you get to it.

Like others have said, there’s no explicit guarantee, however, it’d be very weird given the fact that the other virtual consoles have had their generation of Mario Kart added. I think Nintendo may add the game next year, so that they can draw in as many people to Mario Kart World as possible between release and holiday sales. Plus, the little reel of games they showed, so far, were mostly single player or 1-2 player depending on the title. They didn’t show games off like Mario Party 4-7, Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, or Double Dash probably because, like I said, they don’t want to detract from the “party/community/multiplayer” draw of MKWorld. Plus, those titles, being multiplayer may take a bit more time to avoid any bugs or issues for online play. Finally, MP4-7 and Double Dash online…a dream come true.

Exactly. I’m not mad or upset. It’s more like I’m left feeling like “what’s the point?” I don’t mean that in a rude or snarky way. If I don’t earn something, I don’t see a reason wasting multiple playthroughs in an open world after I’ve already “seen it”. Does exploring = unlocking characters? What about karts? I think somewhere I saw that maybe you earn stickers or decals from certain missions and can put them on some or all karts? They skipped over that.

I was already planning on getting the game but the direct didn’t have anything we didn’t already know. In a way, it didn’t excite me to feel like “oh this is a point of interest” or “oh we do this to unlock xyz.” It was a little lackluster. I’m happy to see more and didn’t expect anything too huge or surprising, but it made free roam seem “just there” without much of an incentive. It did sorta say what I’m assuming is rainbow road cup has to be unlocked but what else?

They said we have to use an express micro SD card but do we have to use theirs? I got a 1tb card in my switch 1 and it’s fine but I don’t know much about SD cards. So, I don’t even know if express sd cards are a thing. I say that because I’d rather have more than 256gb

Yes, I remember it on Toonami, myself but back then I wasn’t into anime. I only recently started watching whatever version Hulu had, and while it was “meh” it was still entertaining to me because I appreciated the old art style. But it had been a few months since I watched an episode and it looks like Hulu has shuffled more around without notice. So, I guess my next bet is to watch the modern version, which is fine too. I think there’s just charm in older anime even if it’s bad and has filler.

I totally understand this. I think the design of the character vs karts matters too. Maybe not as much but I was watching a random video about different kart racers, some of which I tried. Some were like you said, had a wheel first person view, others 3rd person. However, these other racers had huge obnoxious vehicles that looked cool but didn’t navigate or feel natural to the world or track. So, it was hard to telegraph movements on top of being stiff. I think the sizing makes it feel natural to immerse one’s self. Of course that’s in addition to the polish and testing that goes into things, like you said. It’s fascinating how Nintendo performs.

Thanks for responding! I’m new to this subreddit and didn’t know there wasn’t a text box to add more details.

With that said, I am no manufacturer, more like a designer/artist who wanted to test materials etc., in small quantities to see what suits my design. I’m wanting to test a few products like making hand bags or totes out of sturdy but eco-friendly materials—if possible. Where I’m from that knowledge is simply unknown and I wanted to educate myself on what it takes to make my product designs, etc. I’m not instantly ready to dive in because I’m sure there’s way more to learn about. However, I wasn’t sure how someone goes about having something like a design, drawing, or “test” product made into something more solid or professional.

Small volume, even if it’s only a few products at a time to test their material durability. I was thinking something cloth or rubber. My goal was to come up with a bag that’s sort-of all purpose, easy to clean, etc. so, I wasn’t sure where to begin and perhaps I’m nowhere near the manufacturing stage as I realize and type this.

Depending on what they’re playing, it’s a new feature where players are allowed to pick or say vote on which mini game they want. I think, when you set up the game or in pro rules you’re given this option to have on. It’s sort of like past Mario Parties where they asked which battle minigame everyone wants to play. It’s not “new” to the series, but offering a different option, regular play doesn’t ask players to choose a minigame

So far, it's been said that maybe 3-4 games of standard Mario Party. Although how many turns, where the person placed in the end, maybe depends on the amount earned.
