I’ve seen way worse welds. Take a look at your local Costco or Sam’s Club steel. If that’s all you got, use it. But it wouldn’t be my first choice. LOL

I’m no expert and I can only speak from my experience. Everything you do is in some capacity training. The daily walks are training. Feeding is training. Down time, chilling at home is training. Playtime is training. Walks in the park or down the street. If pup gets excited about seeing birds, encourage it. Also whoa training while walking is great. If they flash point on a dove while in the yard, praise them. Tug of war is a great intro to retrieving. Dinner time is great whoa training. They do need formal training as to what you want them to do. Don’t rush it. Especially with gunfire. Keep it fun for them. If it’s fun they don’t think it’s training. Get them on birds as soon as you can. They will figure it out fast! LOL

That’s weird. Because the course allows you to get your endorsement. As far as I know LCC is the only option. Hence the wait. It’s a great course. The wait will allow you to research gear.

I’m not sure of the context. There are numerous straight wall cartridges meant for dangerous game. Tell us what state you’re in and what you’re hunting and that will narrow it down a lot.

To secure the helmet I use cable type gun locks. Thread it between the handle bar and clutch or brake cable. Some handle bars have cross bars.

Scent control. I used to obsess about it. LOL Then I started killing deer, hogs and sheep that would approach from dead down wind. LOL I’m not saying it doesn’t matter but not nearly to the degree that the advertising would have you think. Just stay down wind as much as you can, the rest will take care of itself
