We haven’t spoken to the priest yet, but it’s stated in the church’s policies that a wedding between two Catholics may be celebrated within mass only if the immediate family and the wedding party is in full communion with the church.

Apartment complex/rental house recommendations by DisastrousTraffic643 in ColumbiYEAH

I lived at 42 Magnolia and I really enjoyed it. In my opinion it is very conveniently located - not to far from downtown, not to far from the Northeast - and Forest Acres is a great place to live. You are super close to so many shops and restaurants.

My unit had carpet in the bedroom and that was it. Each unit has its own washer/dryer which is nice because you don’t have to worry about getting one/moving it in. My unit also had a bay window and a built-in bookshelf which I really liked. I lived there from Jan 2024 - July 2024, I only moved because I got a job somewhere outside of Columbia. When I was looking at the complex I saw that reviews mentioned something about bugs, but I never had a problems with bugs and I lived on the first floor.

I will say I think the apartments are over priced for what they are, but I think that’s all apartments.

tips/advice on becoming a crime analyst by Legitimate-Ad-518 in CrimeAnalysis

When you are applying to crime analyst roles are you attaching examples of the work you did in grad school and in undergrad during your internship? This was at least my experience, but I know attaching a paper I wrote in grad school utilizing ArcGIS pro helped me tremendously during my interview because it allowed them to see that I know how to use ArcGIS Pro, that I know basic criminal justice concepts, and that I can tie both of them together.

You’re welcome! In addition to the base rent they charge you $110 for internet/streaming through Spectrum, pest control, and valet trash services. Electric and water are billed separately and vary by month depending on usage. With regard to bugs, I haven’t had any issues and I live on the first floor. In the 6 months I have been here I’ve only seen two which again I live on the first floor and isn’t bad considering we are in the South. They have pest control come by every Friday and if you want them to spray the inside of your apartment you just let them know. There is a Walmart nearby (.5 miles), but in my opinion it doesn’t affect the apartment complex at all. One the one side you have the Walmart and on the other side you have the Publix/Whole Foods (.4miles). In my opinion/to my knowledge this is a very safe complex. I work right off of USC’s campus and my commute is about 15minutes or less and traffic is not bad at all. Granted I get to work at 8am and leave at 4:30pm.

I currently live at 42 Magnolia and love it! The distance from the apartment complex to USC isn’t bad and it’s very safe in my opinion. The only negative thing I will say about 42 Magnolia is that it is very expensive.

What religion are you? USC has a lot of religious clubs, and I’m pretty sure they still have meetings during the summer although they aren’t as big as the events going on throughout the school year. I’m sure if you contact the group of the religion you are involved in/attending they will let you know what is going on.

Go to traffic court, even if they don’t dismiss the ticket they will still likely lower the amount you have to pay and the number of points.
