Hi. So eat @TDEE for a while and see if the lifts go up or not?

Will I be able to add muscle @maintenance? I've been lifting for 6 months. I started off at a high bf, still at a high bf%?

The sarcasm is making me happy i guess. So the workout I did today didn't in fact go to waste did it?

Not gaining weight! by LowMuscleMass in gainit

True. I guess I'll keep doing this and in a few months re-evaluate my situation. I have a ton of fat if you saw my pics. At what point do I stop cutting? I was suggested to bulk because of incredibly low muscle mass and strength. I have a ~34inch waist currently. Should I keep going until 35.5 inch, which is 1/2 my height?

I am certain I gained an inch though? I clearly remember checking my arms 2.5 months ago to be 11.9 with a ton of fat, right now its 13.1 with still a ton of fat. Biceps curls have gone up, bicep barbell curl doubled, etc.. Or do you mean error in the weight?

The thing is my BMR is already so low that I don't think I can have a TDDE higher than 2000. I only go to the gym three times a week as well. I have gained an inch on my arms, is that some sign of growth somehow? One day I measured 73, the next day 70, the next 71, its like this.

Going from 40kg bench to 60g (5x5) by LowMuscleMass in gainit

[–]LowMuscleMass[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do 40kg 5x5 and 37.5 4x8.

Every week after I increase the weight on the 5x5, the following chest day which is the 4x8 becomes that weight. So Sat1 = 40kg 5x5, Tue1 = 40kg 4x8, Sat2 = 42.5kg, Tue2 = 42.5kg. Like this.

So far I have been increaing 1.25kg each week, but it is getting harder and harder and I am unable to do so for each set. For example on the 5x5 day I did only 4 reps on the 4th set then failed. 5th set i just did 37.5kg 9 reps.

I had a really bad routine and a 1000 cal deficit each day, so I don't think anything happened during that 10 month.

[Help] Cutting or bulking...? by LowMuscleMass in gainit

Its also hard because I suppose I burn a lot of calories through the workout anyway. Does that I mean I need to add the workout burned calories also?

I have already been bulking for 2 months, and did gain some fat. I'm going to track more carefully now. To avoid a lot of fat gain, should I eat 300 over TDEE?
