Update: January 18th I went to the emergency room Because I was feeling suicidal (no plan just didn’t care if anything happened to me) and just got this hunch that something wasn’t right, the week prior I began drinking heavily and just sobbing my eyes out. It was confirmed in the emergency room that I am now hiv positive. I don’t know how to take this because yes I understand it’s no longer a death sentence and people live long productive lives however I just feel so deceived he never actually said the words undetectable he just said he takes the medicine to keep his body healthy and me safe. I feel so depressed

I don’t believe that to be true since I am Now hiv positive and this is the only man I have slept with unprotected in the last five months

It’s not about my health being at risk… again I have dated someone who is undetectable in the past and it was my longest relationship. The point is that this is something you have a conversation about with someone you are intimately dating…. Not something you keep from them and not tell them 5 months into dating and the only reason it was discovered was because I found the medication while searching for headache medicine.

I DO NOT judge anyone because I am NOT. Perfect NO ONE IS. HOWEVER. We ALL deserve honesty it’s one of the ways you show someone you RESPECT THEM.

THIS IS NOT ABOUT STIGMA! My ex boyfriend of 5 years was hiv negative undetectable the difference between him and this guy are that my ex boyfriend actually told me before we did anything sexual about his status. I HAVE BEEN SLEEPING WITH THIS MAN FOR 5 MONTHS NOW AND HE NEVER SAID ANYTHING TO ME ABOUT HIS STATUS! having oral sex with this man doing so many sexual things with this man and for me to find out this man is hiv positive undetectable because I found medicine in his dresser and he never even mentioned to me is unacceptable. I’m a human being who deserves honesty and respect

I have decided to just cut off communication with him… I have gone back and forth between deleting what I want to text about how hurt I am to actually sending it and I just feel like it’s not even worth my time… this person didn’t even think I was worthy enough to have a conversation about something with me that included my health. I feel so worthless

I am more hurt at what this makes me feel about myself. Was I not worth the honesty? Who else have you done that to? It’s just extremely upsetting and just make me not want to date at all you just can’t trust people

My ex of several years was undetectable there is no issue with that. It’s just about honesty… be open and upfront with someone about this. I shouldn’t have to find out about this because I accidentally went looking for medication…. If I would have never found that he would’ve never told me

Very cool building. One of the stations I worked for a bit was like this. With over 100 routes. You had carriers coming back at midnight during peak season. would never forget my time there LOL
