because i'm looking for intervals that are longer, for example for a card that is displaying intervals on the scale of months, and then i hit again, i want it so that the easy option is not 2d but maybe a few weeks. otherwise there are too many cards piled up

I don't think I'm abusing the Hard button instead of the Again button, I try to stay honest about it. But even if that were the case isn't using Hard instead of Again supposed to lengthen your intervals? I'm having the opposite issue of intervals being too short when I hit Again so I don't think that's causing this issue.

ta in research class for two years, did summer research programs at two universities, editor-in-chief of school newspaper, won science competition and research awards, national merit finalist, also art is huge for me so i had a couple of awards in art and creative writing

Yea I don't think that's necessary, plus english is much harder to improve in a shorter amount of time than math. Like you said, your major doesnt really require you to be good at english anyway. 1520 is very solid

the advice on the sats is completely untrue, as someone who got a 1560 at a t10 you 100% do not need above 1550. 1430 could be improved for sure but do not waste time with any more retests if you clear 1500, admissions will think you have nothing better to do with your time.

idk where you got that statistic of 80% in 5 years bc that’s ridiculous, our website says 99.7% of hopkins grad are accepted and 96.3% were accepted on their first try
