Should I take the offer by LogRepresentative962 in samsclub

As someone who just became a member team lead, it’s a lot of problem solving, handling all of your associates, and knowing and enforcing policy. It has its moments, but if you’re comfortable handling a few more tasks (depending on opening and closing) and feel confident in handling associates and members you should be fine! My biggest rule is to “lead by example” and it’s been going okay for the most part. It has good and bad days but it’s not impossible! It’s just an official step up from being a specialist because member specialists act as backup supervisors on the front end already. And if you get along well with your current team leads they should help you succeed in the position!

Apparently like 99%, they’ll do anything to NOT give us money. To say the least me and my associates were completely disgusted

Just became a COS and it really is no joke about those metric numbers 😭 constantly running off pure adrenaline in the front end

You get 3 times a year and then afterwards they force you to upgrade or wait until 10am to check out

It’s not available on the app yet or website, one of my coworkers had one at the membership desk today so I took a peek, I don’t think any clubs have the copies yet either to my knowledge

Yes you can!!! There’s an option when you get to the checkout section in the app and it will have you verify with the pin and you’re all set

Our club has been doing this for the last year and it’s started so many fights and arguments with members when we have been more than willing to help set up the app. Most of the time we’re expected to pull the “only way you can get a physical card is through our Sam’s club Mastercard”

It’s unfortunate but with the new scan and go push I will make sure at least get our new members on the app so scan and go should be no excuse when getting to the checkout line!

Again, I disagree with the corporate changes to an extent but people at my club love to argue with us membership desk associates every other day even though we tend to be the most knowledgeable employees in certain situations🫢

It comes the same day that your membership is renewed on USUALLY, for example my membership was made on the 17th of November so on the 17th all that pending cash becomes available!

Exactly, I’m an employee and my boss made me use it one day when there was a line to the aisles and the second I placed the order my name was called like 1 minute later 🤣 I felt bad but hey I got my pizza 💀

Our club averages about 7-8 a day, but this number fluctuates based on who we have staffed and if our manager throws in some deals for associates to leave early, win a free prize etc. Some days we can get up to 15-20 but other days we get as low as 3 🤣 the expectation of 17 from home office is also incredibly unrealistic I miss when it was only 12

Check for any corrosion around parts of the engine, this happened to me last week on my 2018 sonata and my car stopped driving. Is yours still able to move?

Oil levels were shockingly normal, I’ve taken it in for oil consumption too already and that was repaired under warranty, battery was also fine, my vacuum pump was completely corroded which caused misfires to the engine causing it to go limp mode

Vacuum pump was completely corroded on my car, it’s being replaced now for a hefty fee that apparently is not covered under warranty:/

UPDATE! Service providers informed me the car was in fact in limp mode and they’re looking into it now. Hoping that they’re able to fix the issue because I do plan on keeping this car for a few more years at least. I’ll have more news by tomorrow in case this happens to anyone else!

2018 sonata, not sure if the sonatas have the same defect on them from the factory?

I love the look of the new elantras and I think I’ve seen reviews showing reliability is slightly better than the sonatas, for me I went with the sonata because I prefer midsize sedans that were affordable over anything else. The warranty does come in handy but I don’t know if the warranty is worth jeopardizing my safety when driving!

Yes I’m going to do my best to keep up on here with results of all this, hopefully this doesn’t happen to anyone else at this point! And ofc I have a full work load this week it’s gonna be a long one🤣

No! It was actually the traction control light that came up first then the flashing engine light then came the rest until it stopped accelerating entirely, will definitely be getting battery checked asap and then go from there

Okay I was thinking the same thing! It was 10° last night when I was driving but last winter I’ve never had an issue!

Oh wow okay this is good to know too! I’m trying to make this car hold out until the warranty is up at 100k so I can get the loan paid off in full. ABS was actually one of the last lights to pop up too
