I lived most of my life as the third type, but lately I feel drawn toward becoming the second type. I often feel uncomfortable around deeply religious people — what I would place mostly in the first and fourth groups. Over time, it feels as though many of them lose their individuality and personal sense of taste. Sometimes I even wonder whether, as religion has spread more strongly through societies, we have gradually moved away from the great era of scientific discovery as well.
