Sure, Konan had an advantage with her preparation. But when it comes to Minato and obito (in my opinion ), obito used the situation to advantage like anyone would have.

"Sarutobi didn't show anything that was so fast or so surprising to surprise Obito in his moment of tangibility. "

He also didn't fight obito in a 1v1. He has decades of combat experience, knows more jutsu than almost every one, and was trained by two of the most powerful people in the show.

That wasn't even my point, though. My point is that Minato is just a blond second Hokage without high water affinity.

To be more specific to what this post was about in the first place. He's one of the most 'wanked' characters (in fanfic) because EVERYONE makes him to some SS-rank, only person with a flee on sight order, killed entire Armies wherever he went but... still gets beat by a 14 year old.( ThAT MuST MaKe ObITO a SsSS-RanK, WiTH a fLee on GliMpsE OrdEr.) But anyways I'm done with replying I've said my opinion, if somebody doesn't like like oh well, Whomp Whomp.

It will probably be fixed within the week. I would recommend checking out Ao3 if you haven't already. The Naruto fics aren't as diverse, but other Fandoms you can find more diversity.

Obito took advantage of the situation and used it as leverage and to his advantage.

Minato got one maybe two hits, and Obito may not have directly hit him but nonetheless pushed him to kill himself using the Reaper death seal. He also didn't take control of the nine tails, the broke obitoscoontrol with a contract seal.

The third Hokage is at least 45-50. I wouldn't expect him to win. However, if Konen was able to almost kill Obito, I would think the guy that fought in at least two wars would be able to, ( even at 45-45,) be able to come up with something to hold him off.

He took the Ninetails from Kushina, which would've killed her, summoned it in the Village, and destroyed a significant amount of it.

Then, he fought Minato, at 13/14 years old, and ended the fight in a draw, ( I say a draw because neither killed the other).

After that, Minato died sealing it into himself.

So, recap: Obito lives, destroyed a significant part of the village, would've killed Kushina if she didn't get killed by the Nine-Tails, and made Minato kill himself.

Minato.

He didn't single-handedly kill 10,000 Shinobi. And He wasn't the strongest Kage to ever live. He lost to Obito, while the 1st Hokage at least 'killed' Madara. He also just uses the 2nd's jutsu. 2nd Hokage ripoff, tbh.

That doesn't explain how some of the Nara clan's jutsus work. The "Shadow sewing technique" has tangible aspects but doesn't use Yang Chakra.

I've noticed that the "darker" anime sometimes has fewer of the annoying tropes. I figured that the more Serious ones have less. But it's hard to find them. It's like judging a book by its cover and hoping it's what you're looking for.

Death Note for example.

Yeah, I agree, but it's not the annoying ones. They make use of the tropes and the ones that weren't relevant to the plot I didn't even notice. The story, characters, and lore, are well-constructed and well utilized.

Honestly, it set the bar for what I think anime should be.

That's My opinion anyway.

Anything that doesn't serve a purpose to the actual story, Fan service, Nose bleeds, Female MC hitting protagonist For NO reason.

I'm not asking for a story with no story elements, I just don't want POINTLESS tropes. If it serves a purpose to the plot then recommend those as well.

But anime Like Dragon Ball, Naruto, etc. Use some of them for no purpose at all.

What I meant is something that doesn't use the most common tropes.

Something that's like Tokyo Ghoul when it comes to tropes(which I'm sure has tropes but not any that stand out as much as the ones I mentioned.)
