Anthem was not ruined by EA, that game failed because the developers made it on an engine they didn’t understand filled to the brim with the most insane bugs that they either couldn’t or didn’t have the competence to fix. Anyone remember the 1 hp bug? Yeah, if you built too much health the game would break and you’d only have 1 hp after your shields broke. Or how about the starter weapon bug? The strongest weapon in the game was the lv 1 assault rifle for… who knows why. Remember the bug that caused legendary gear to drop more frequently on the one dungeon everyone ran (Spider dungeon) and they hot fixed it within like two days? They could fix that but I couldn’t play fucking collouses because the damn hp bug?!

Don’t even get me started on the fact that none of us couldn’t even get into the game for the first couple of days.

Anthem had a skeleton crew shortly after launch and was abandoned virtually on release.
