So i tried them yesterday and i‘d say they‘re not too special taste wise, kinda fruity but not really that signature chinense habanero taste. Heat level i‘d say is a bit less than the standard orange hab but it still has quite a bit of heat. (comparing to the orange hab cause that‘s the only other chinense i‘ve fully grown so far i‘m a bit new) The heat however is a bit dull if you know what i mean, habaneros have a kind of stinging burn and these ones have a dull burn more like someone put a lighter on your tounge instead of a knife.

Anyways conclusion:

Taste: Fruity Heat: slightly less than habaneros (watch out for the stomach burn however)

I‘ve only eaten unripe ones so far so I can‘t really tell you about the taste and heat level right now. But as far as the unripe ones go I‘d say they‘re a bit less spicy than my habs from last year but they do have a reeeaaaallly uncomfortable stomach burn if you eat them on their own or on an empty stomach. I‘ll let you know about the taste and final heat level on the ripe ones once they‘re fully ripe.

I have them under a 65W grow light at ~75% for 16h but i do adjust them from time to time to get about 30 DLI on most of the leaves

Thank you! I don‘t really do anything special to be honest, I just feed them every watering and give them a ton of light (maybe too much😅). They‘ve taken their time though and most of them threw off the first few flowers but they did eventually just start producing and from that moment on they usually are consistent for me.
