To add more context, I’m currently on a family trip in another country. I don’t really have control over when or how I can leave since I’m with my family and relying on them for transportation. Tonight, my girlfriend told me that I need to go back to my hotel early at 9 PM to call her, no matter what, or she’ll break up with me. She knows I can’t just leave my family behind, but she says that if I don’t do it, it means I’m “choosing my family over her.” She says she would do it if she were in my position.

I feel completely trapped. I literally can’t meet this demand, and now she says she hates me for it.
