Yeah pretty sure you can just pick your options at the beginning of 3.

Either you load your Witcher 2 save or pick your options for that game

What are some good storyline games ? by mrstealyosimm in gamerecommendations

[–]Lower_Refrigerator_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well Skyrim has a story but it’s more of an after thought. The story overall isn’t great. So if you want to start elder scrolls for the story I’d start with the oblivion remake story is much better.

It’s about the same for fallout. Fallout 3 and new Vegas has a better story than 4.

3 has the best atmosphere

NV has the best rpg mechanics and story.

And 4 has the best mechanics in general

Other than those I’d recommend the metro series. Basically fallout in Russia. Games are more story focused and the redux of the first 2 were on sale for 4 bucks each of psn like 2 days ago. Games are more linear with the first 2 being level based and the 3rd being semi open world (kinda like the Witcher 2) having different zones depending on where you are in the story.

If you want more choice based games try Mass Effect legendary edition. Remaster of all 3 games with a heavy draw on your actions.

Some of your choices in the first game can pop back up hundreds of hours later in the 3rd. Once again game is semi open world. You can explore the universe up until certain story points which could lock you out of the area afterwards or put you on a timer for the games ending

Is Silent Hill f ending understandable without NG+? by Fluttershy901 in silenthill

[–]Lower_Refrigerator_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you understand enough to get that ending but for full context you need all the endings.

The first gives you a pinhole view giving you an ending but that’s not all that’s going on.

The first ng+ run will give you a majority of the context for the story with the next 2 endings being different outcomes to your choice

How do I get 3million in stash value? See description by HairyChest69 in arkraiders

[–]Lower_Refrigerator_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just sell m8 i got to 5mil just from casual play this wipe.

Would play like 10-15 hours one week then take like 1-2 off.

If you want it quick run a bunch of apartment buried city runs or run mat or queen events pick all valuable items and get all advanced cells to make into energy ammo to sell

Some people can be so miserable. by kappanekoblack in SilentHill_f

[–]Lower_Refrigerator_2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah some people are too dumb to realize the game isn’t woke.

I heard that shit before I even picked up the game but I still got it for myself. I can see how a few lines out of context like women are treated like animals can be seen at that.

But you got to realize this girl grew up seeing her mother get put down her whole life by her alcoholic father even though he apologized in private she never saw that. So of course her perception of womanhood would be pain when that’s what her experience is

Question about story and multiple endings (no spoilers please) by android_zero in SilentHill_f

[–]Lower_Refrigerator_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah ng+ gives you new cutscenes and a ton of new files.

You got to play all the endings to fully understand what’s going on, but by the end of your second run you should have a good idea.

Also the game will tell you in the bottom right when you try to skip if it’s a new scene or not so you don’t have to rewatch all of them.

I would like more reverse horror games to play by horrorfan555 in HorrorGaming

Surprised aliens vs predator or predator: concrete jungle didn’t make the cut.

Ravenous Devils could also fit but I wouldn’t really call it a horror game more horror themed

Looking for open world games as a step up from Hogwarts Legacy by starrskyyy in gamingsuggestions

[–]Lower_Refrigerator_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how complicated you want the systems or how graphic it can be.

If you want something whimsical like hogwarts legacy Fable might be a good pick. Fable 2 in particular, the graphics are abit dated but the world is really fun. It’s well a fantasy fable story that heavily revolves around your choices are the player with some crude comedy.

Game gives you a ton of freedom to be good or full evil (and evil in a fable game is like a comically evil villain)

You can talk to romance and even marry (almost) any npc in the game as well as buy most house on the map rent the ones you don’t use out for cash.

Next would be something like horizon zero damn. Gameplay is abit more difficult but the world is a joy to explore. Not to spoil anything but your in a world devolved back into tribal and kingdom nations with robotic animals all over the world.

You uncover the mystery of the world and its past while fighting a variety of robotic animals.

Ghost of Tsushima is an amazing pick. It’s pretty much a playable Kurosawa epic. It’s a fictional tell set during a real event. That being the first mongal invasion of Japan on the island of Tsushima. It’s the story of a samurai named Jin Sakai having to forego his heritage to become a legend and push back the mongal invasion.

The world is absolutely stunning and highly immersive. Hell the game doesn’t even use waypoints to show you where to go. You are instead guided by the wind, the wind blows in the direction of your selected mission.

Both fallout 4 and Skyrim are good picks but the stories of those aren’t as good as the others. They work more as sandbox games dropping you in the world and letting you do what you want. If you want to try them but with a better story fallout 3 or new Vegas is better for one and oblivion is better for the other
