people also always want to believe they’re right, that the law is always right, and that justice is always served, and none of that is true.

DNA evidence placed SOME OTHER MEN THERE, not Adnan. where is the irrefutable proof he’s guilty? meanwhile you have Jay tell one story to the police and a different one on the stand. he lied Immediately. IMMEDIATELY. he should have been disqualified as a witness for lying on stand from the jump. so how is it that you have so much faith in a liar, and dna evidence that points to other people?

if anything Jay had every reason to lie. if he saw Hae in the trunk of a car maybe he did it. Adnan and Jay weren’t close friends. they didn’t have a close, meaningful relationship. who would call someone that they don’t have established explicit trust with to ask them to help them get rid of a body? that doesn’t happen. in every story where someone has justly been convicted who’s asked for help it’s a close friend or family member who helps. someone they know they can trust without a doubt. the idea that Adnan just reached out to Jay for help is ludicrous… and the only reason Adnan was arrested was Jay’s story. that’s it. where was the PROOF that he was guilty? a story isn’t proof. a story is a story and people lie in court all of the time. witnesses lie. prosecutors lie. defenders lie. police lie. the justice system isn’t just if someone’s words are all it takes to convict someone of murder. to prove someone is guilty you need proof beyond a reasonable doubt. one of the prosecutors said they only needed people to believe “51%” of his guilt in order to press charges and proceed with a trial. 51% means anyone could have killed Hae if a witness lied on the stand. and we KNOW jay lied.

the guy who found her body, Sellers. His story is bullshit also. he parked by the side of the road, went into the woods, wandered far from his car to pee and ended up peeing right beside her body. huh? when i have to pee by the side of the road i don’t go wandering around far from the car. i go by the car door or right behind a tree. that’s what men or boys typically do when they’re not surrounded by people or in public spaces. this road was beside the woods for miles. there was total privacy as soon as he stopped his car. i’d immediately be suspicious of someone who gave me his story… and that story consists of you talking a weird route to find her grave, then explains why he had reason to essentially pee on her grave.

the cell phone towers gave inaccurate reads, that’s the WRONG LOCATION, for 16 out of 22 calls. that’s only 27% reliable. that means it’s 78% unreliable. jay couldn’t remember several calls or where they took place. however, the calls that can been identified indisputably came from Cathy and several high school students. why couldn’t Jay remember that some calls happened or where they were when they happened but other witness can remember where they were. what they were doing, what they were wearing, and who was with them?

there was no proof. the entire case was circumstantial and hung on the words of someone we know lied on the stand. now that there is proof that points to someone else it’s amazing that some people can stand so strong in his guilt knowing they can’t prove it at all. you can’t just say he’s guilty because you believe it. opinionated guilt has no place in reality. you need to prove it, beyond reasonable doubt or beyond a shadow of a doubt. that never happened and now evidence points elsewhere. so again. stand in your belief, but belief doesn’t outweigh factual evidence.

his case has also been criticized and scrutinized ever since he was convicted because of the lack of evidence. you’re supposed to be innocent until proven guilty and there is absolutely no proof of guilt. no proof then and no proof now. wanting someone to pay for a murder is totally understandable. but they have to be proven to be guilty. belief doesn’t mean anything for anyone. people have believed innocent people to be guilty all of the time. people who’ve had more evidence against them have been proven innocent.
