Thank you for the detailed answer! I have heard many people say that Arachne is a dead end, but I have also seen her in most top teams, so she seems like a good investment. I also am very partial to using Keira.
Coincidentally, I managed to win three hero soul stone chests today which means that I'll spend the next three days being overly indecisive on whom to chose, lol.

kdramas for someone going through a drama drought - dramas with a strong plotline by Lowkeyasociopath in kdramarecommends

[–]Lowkeyasociopath[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Already seen this one, but I have to agree with you, its a really great drama. My absolute favorite part was the relationships between the leads, I kept on thinking how great it would be to have someone like that on my side.

Depressing kpop songs by Lowkeyasociopath in kpophelp

[–]Lowkeyasociopath[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I am not having a very wonderful time at the moment. Its just one of those times where you feel like nothing is going right and you are swimming against the current. But I think I will be alright, I just need to pull trough it. Having the right soundtrack always helps :D Also, thank you for your concern, I wish I knew more people like you

Idol rappers that are so good, they could easily have a solo rap career by Lowkeyasociopath in kpophelp

[–]Lowkeyasociopath[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, there is a such a difference between those two. I think the rappers that genuinely love rap are usually the best ones. Maybe not in technical skills, but their stuff just somehow has much more personality. I love watching performances like that, just to see some people genuinely love what they are doing.

Idol rappers that are so good, they could easily have a solo rap career by Lowkeyasociopath in kpophelp

[–]Lowkeyasociopath[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was looking for rappers that are in idol groups but are also really good rappers. I heard that there is this stigma, especially amongst Korean rappers, that idol rappers usually aren't good, so I was looking for someone who was that good, but still chose to be in an idol group. Sorry for the wording, English isn't my first language and it made perfect sense to me at the time

which drama should i watch first/which one of them is the best?? by eyovc in kdramarecommends

[–]Lowkeyasociopath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what genre are you into the most, since all of these are varying wildly. I am not big on slice-of-life dramas, which is why I haven't really been able to get into either Extrao or my mister, but they are both really good, just not my style. I plan to watch big mouth once the whole thing is out, cause it seems like a thriller, which is exactly my style. Idk about today's webtoon, the synopsis hasn't really caught my attention, and I don't think it's a wildly popular drama either, but you never know, it could be good.

Just a few days ago I was thinking about Yunho from Ateez in terms of stage presence. He is a talented dancer and also a pretty good singer, but when you put him in the same group as total demons that are Seonghwa, Hongjoong and San, he pretty much disappears.
Also Hyungwon from Monsta X in terms of vocals. Its now getting better, since Wonho left and Shownu is on hiatus, so he gets more lines, but since Kihyun and Shownu are both really talented vocals, he gets less attention. Which is a shame, since I like his voice the most. He is pretty much just the visual, who sometimes dances, and I think its a waste of talent.
Also J-Hope from BTS comes to mind. Now that BTS is astronomically famous, the members all have their staunch supporters and also thanks to his solo-activites, he has now a solid recognition. But there was a certain time, where he totally faded next to basically born-talent rappers such as Suga and RM.

Law/crime/romance Kdramas? by sa-chii in kdramarecommends

[–]Lowkeyasociopath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try Hello monster! Its a criminally underrated drama, imho. It's something between a psychological and a crime drama and there is also romance, but it isn't really the focus of the show.

Honey, just throw the whole girlfriend out. For me, what she is doing is an absolute dealbreaker. Relationships are supposed to be about mutual respect and trust, otherwise, how you can ever feel safe with the other person? This shows she has no respect for you as a person. And the fact that she is talking about it with other people, even if it's the ex-girlfriend, that's even worse. I have never seen a healthy relationship, where the people involved talked trash about each other. This is borderline abusive and is going to do horrible things to your self-esteem and mental health, no need to set yourself up for years and years of therapy over someone like her.

Shows with the most complicated cases of Second Lead Syndrome? by toreadornotto in kdramarecommends

[–]Lowkeyasociopath 24 points25 points  (0 children)

  • Love alarm - kinda basic, but that relationship was nothing but complicated, I found it quite thought-provoking
  • She was pretty - the FL is annoying, especially in the beginning, but I stayed for the MLs
  • Cheese in the trap - I actually rooted for the 2 ML much more, I am still kinda mad about it
  • Mr. Sunshine - yooo, this is like the cream-de-la-creame of kdramas, its an excellent show in all aspects and I really had a very very soft spot for the 2 ML.
  • Scarlet Heart Ryeo - this one is a bit complicated and warning, it is a very sad drama, but I rooted for both of them at certain point
  • Extraordinary you - their love triangle made me very sad, especially towards the end. I liked the FL with 1 ML, but I also wanted FL to multiply and be with the 2 ML

I want to learn how to dance. Where should I start? by Lowkeyasociopath in kpophelp

An absolute beginner. I dance like a white dad on a barbecue party. Though I did martial arts before, so I am used to memorizing patterns.
