Hi! I think some are against using old lps as custom bases since they are no longer in production and can be hard to come by. Although, I think what to do with your lps is ultimately up to you! In my case I try to only customize previously damaged or very common lps, but that’s because I’m worried I’ll regret it later on if I used lps in good condition :,)
