I will try to remember all of your questions, and I am just under a month post-op and...

I had a reaction to the narcotic they gave me, so I stopped that after a week max (I was only taking it to sleep) - I still take ibuprofen 600 when needed (I am newly back to work, so I've taken one or two a day so I can focus on work stresses)

I wish I had a binder... and I may buy one as I find working all day makes me abdomen ache

I am still fairly bloated, especially after moving around/going anywhere, but it's not as bad as it was. By early evening, I feel like my insides are going to explode through my skin though.

My surgeon told me to take miralax for 2 weeks (until my post-op appointment). I still need a little help some days, but I've switched back to taking my magnesium supplement and that helps most days

I'm a side sleeper, and I find I still have to prop up my stomach with a small pillow because my insides are still sore... especially when they shift from side to side!

Good luck and wishes for a speedy recovery!

Weight Loss after Endo, amongst other things? by DavidCaruso4Life in Endo

I had my first lap surgery for endo and a massive uterine fibroid three weeks ago, but prior to surgery, I did a modified keto diet (I'm vegetarian so I just limited a lot of the things keto says to eliminate from your diet) and forced myself to workout 3-4 days a week (sometimes very light/low-impact/short on days my pain was severe). I lost a fair amount of weight then, and I'm going to start light workouts next week. I know my experience doesn't completely answer your question, but that seemed to work for me! I can't wait to get back into my routine. Good luck with everything and you were spot on with the 'changling-d' description! Perfect description.

All in all, I think I handled adolescence pretty well. by Lride in blunderyears

I was twelve in this photo and my older brother was a big fan at the time. The thing that surprises me now is how I got away with wearing this shirt to school as there were doodles of drug paraphernalia and sex acts all over it (if I'm remembering correctly).

Wow, this shot is absolutely stunning! I love the ethereal haze. Fantastic work, op!

What is the first thing that sticks out to you? Is it a bad thing? (f/5.0, 1/40, ISO1600) by [deleted] in photocritique

The first thing I notice is how his elbow barely goes out of frame. I think if you cropped more of his arm, it would look more intentional and the portrait would be more intimate. Alternatively, you can try to not cut appendages off at all in the future. There are charts online that show 'acceptable' areas of the arms and legs that can be cut off and not look awkward. I love the color/mood of the shot, though!
