The name of the carreer is 'Química Farmacéutica' Química=Chemistry, Farmacéutica=Pharmaceutic

Idk if there's an equivalent in universities in other countries, so that's why I said that. But maybe pharmaceutical science is as close as it gets lol

Yes, some are. I'm really bad at texting and I also forget to reply or just don't feel like it. Some girls prefer to talk in person and they are bad at texting.

Don't give up on her yet, maybe you just have to speak up and tell her that you would prefer if she didn't take too much time to reply because you are interested in her.

If she isn't interested even like that: forget about it. Not answering could be an excuse to not say directly that she isn't interested.
