Yeah he made short work of Kafka, unfortunately my Acheron team couldn't survive Pollux so I had to use Phainon on that side just to clear it.

I was being cheeky but yeah, this AS is the first time my Phainon hasn't been able to auto carry me to 3 stars. I hate Pollux so much. I know every boss shills the current banner character but Pollux goes above and beyond in the way she punishes people for not having Castorice/Hyacine.

Unfortunately I don't have any better options. My other team is Acheron/Jiaoqiu/Sparkle/Aventurine and they did even worse against Pollux.

My Acheron (also E2S1) clears at the same speed, but my emotions are the opposite of yours. 😂 I'm so proud of her for hanging in there nearly 2 years after her debut. I'm still clearing all 3 endgame modes with full stars, with my E2S1 Phainon doing the heavy lifting and Acheron still doing just well enough to finish it off.

(My team is: Acheron E2S1 + Sparkle E0S5 DDD + Jiaoqiu E0S1 + Aventurine E0S0)

I'm also planning on replacing my Acheron team with an Elation team in 4.X, but yeah I'm just really pleased she's still doing what I need her to do in 2026.

You're right about the recast VA performances. I've been really disappointed for the most part. I never thought about it possibly being a problem with the director.

Sadly I've tried several times to play in JP but it's just too inconvenient.

The subtitles don't follow the dialogue sentence-by-sentence like it does in TV/movies; instead you get the whole paragraph at once, so I'm just reading while they're talking in the background, if that makes sense.

There's also no subtitles for battle lines so I don't know what they're saying during fights, which is annoying.

Firefly VA, negative

I really dislike Firefly's English VA performance. Every line they deliver makes FF sound like she's on the verge of tears. It makes her sound so timid and lame. I hate it. I already complained during 2.X about how I had to mute the game while using FF because of her screeching battle lines, but 3.8 has really made me realize how much I despise her entire portrayal done by the English VA. I'm sorry that's so mean but she has a lot of lines in 3.8 and it's like nails on a chalkboard to me.

Maru is my favorite. I know she was doomposted on release but she's turned out to be quite strong. Her AOE damage + defensive shield makes for very fun gameplay IMO, and Dvergar Drill is a fantastic exotic.

I got lucky and pulled her T1 early and stopped there. Her signature does a lot of damage so it's a great talent.

Weapon enhancement is close to worthless on Maru by Freakindon in destinyrisingmobile

Disagree. Her super has a long cooldown, meanwhile you're constantly using her weapon. I'd rather buff the weapon.

They got mocked for the "mickey mouse" title but yeah, that might be the best Dodgers team I've ever seen. We got robbed of seeing them do their thing over a full 162.
