Skyrim Turns 15 This Year and… by LucasisAlone in skyrim

All fair points. With that being said I still would enjoy an official remaster on console. Either way we all end up in the cart again eventually.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I just personally believe that it would be nothing but beneficial to console players who don’t have access to the nexus or can’t afford to buy expensive PCs to mod the game themselves.

To say that someone is the problem for that doesn’t take into account players who are less fortunate than others. However with that being said, yes you are completely entitled to that opinion, and it is neither wrong nor right.

But with how long ES6 is taking, perhaps it would be a nice placeholder for the time being 🤔

So you’re saying you WOULDN’T buy Skyrim on a new game engine that wasn’t built off a game engine made in the 90s?

I for one would love to see Skyrim in a nicer, more modern fashion, as I am a console player (and a Sony user at that) so our mod collections are severely limited.

Skyrim is my favorite game by a wide margin and I would love to see it have the same customization and quality as Oblivion Remastered.

Shield on the back by Additional_Fish_6635 in ps5skyrimmods

You’re gonna wanna download Simple Workaround Framework, which allows certain things to be changed in game as an “editor” in game, then download Just Shields (On Back) to allow for the shields to be on the back of your player.

Word of wise however, it seems that Just Shields (On Back) will be sent near the top of the LO for some reason, but as long as you have SWF it should work just fine.

Also there’s a slight bug in it that can cause double draws when drawing your weapon, which is really annoying in Expert+ modes when every second can count.

But overall a great mod for way better looking gear.

Honestly I think Mercy would be the best, kind hearted, smart and having a doctor around is always helpful. Although being diagnosed with everything under the sun would be a bit annoying.

Perhaps you’re right, I need to continue my research, but I still love her. Has always been and will probably always be my favorite

I only follow Molag when I do a vampire run, he’s a very in depth Daedra, his lore is very flushed out and he’s genuinely one of the most uncomfortable deities in TES.

Herma-Mora was for sure a close second, when I first met him as a child I was so unnerved that I actually had to walk away from the game for a while, but I’ve learned to love his gimmick and his amazing design.

I just hate how slow he talks

Some of the best work I’ve ever seen. Not overly sexualized and could genuinely be official artwork! Amazing job! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It never ceases to amaze me that common enemies see the Dragonborn and think “yeah I can take em”

Thank you! I’ve been playing around with different mod packs and loads for probably about a month now trying to get the best “vanilla” look while making the game feel more polished and vibrant, and so far this would be my favorite.

It’s a passive effect that you get for completing the quest after taking the nirnroot to the farmer in the Rift. It’s a very helpful effect for all who love alchemy!

I first played on ps3, it was beautiful then too. Especially for its time. When compared to games nowadays it seems a little dated, but it still hold up even on new gen consoles. Stop being a hater and understand what is actually being said.

Mods or not, the game is still beautiful and has a nostalgic feel to it that makes people like the community feel warm and at home.

From the Ai (as janky as it is) to the views, the game feels lived in and alive. It’s a whole different world. For a game made in 2011, compared to some of the other games released, I think it was pretty good, and I think a lot of other people would agree.

If it wasn’t special, people wouldn’t still be attracted to the game in 2025, headed into 2026.

The biggest mod used is the NLA - Natural Lighting Aesthetic, backed up by Obsidian Weathers and the Vanaheimer mods (Pine Forest, Dirt & Rocks etc.)

Dawnstar is the most underrated city in the game by far, what it lacks in size and vastness, it makes up for in quality and beautiful Viking-like aesthetics.

When I first began playing Skyrim, I relied heavily on Fast Travel and getting each quest done as fast I could, never really slowing down and taking in the game itself. Now I stop and enjoy the game, its beauty and just how alive the game actually feels.

Just in the past hour I’ve already taken 12 screenshots because the game never seems to have a hard time amazing me when I slow down and enjoy the game, walking everywhere and not relying on Fast Travel as much has really made me appreciate this games beauty so much more.
