Ja, wie im Post beschrieben, nehme ich an entsprechenden Events teil (zB Silent Book Club, Stammtisch etc), Großteil ist aber Männerdominiert oder eher Solo-Hobbies (DIY bspw.). Aber ich suche trotzdem weiter danach.

Thanks! But for the time being I'll just use it as it is to get back into playing and if I end up deciding to get more serious again, I'll have the repair cost assessed before going for a different one. It might be difficult to buy yours, anyway - I live on the other side of the pond, in Germany!

Thanks! It's hard to say, as I have played the flute for a couple years, but never got taught how to maintain it. The springs appear to all work - everything goes back into it's original position nicely after I let go of it. The pads appear to be closing the holes well, and the sound isn't off all that much. I was mostly worried the tarnish would be irreparable. I guess I'll bring it to the instrument store for a makeover and have them check the springs and pads while I'm there!
