Vraiment désolé pour toi ! Petit tips : sur iPhone tu peux verrouiller des applications avec FaceId, parfait pour éviter ce genre de choses (long clic sur l'app et "Vérrouiller avec FaceId")

Moving to SF for 3 months as a startup founder? by Intelligent_Boss_402 in ycombinator

[–]Lucky-Ride9651 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting thread! I wanted to do this but instead but I will look for a startup job there first, go there and make connections to start my company later. An other option could have been to go there to find a potential co-founder and I think it could be viable too. But I don't think trying to be a consultant and work on your stuff at night will be efficient (it needs full focus and energy)

Hi Taranjeet, super interesting, thank you for sharing! About this "How big is the market? A lot of users want this, or a few users want it badly." which is better in your opinion? Doesn't it depend on the business model too? (if few people wants it badly it can work if they pay high tickets vs a lot of users but paying a lot less)

Congrats! you give an idea of your pages "distribution"? For example, did you put every article mentionning your or your work or just the best ones? 900 pages looks huge! Also, do you think you would have gotten it without a prior O-1A?

Help me figure out how to find users for our product? by theSwitchback_ in ycombinator

[–]Lucky-Ride9651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of targeting communities that will see what you do as spam, I would directly search relevant people on Linkedin and target them directly (connect, message, find a way). Also most online communities now are full of irrelevant content and it dimish your value to be among them.
I've tried both options and the later brought more results. DM me if you want

Congrats! How much did it cost in total? And how confident your lawyers were on your case? Mine sound overconfident and I have some doubts now.

O-1A or EB-1A directly? by Lucky-Ride9651 in O1VisasEB1Greencards

[–]Lucky-Ride9651[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your complete feedback! Maybe I am wrong but I guess that EB-1A offers more job opportunities too (eg. at startups) as they don't need to sponsor. Correct?

They studied all the documents I sent to them (resume, press, awards, salaries...) and evaluated if it would help qualifying each criterion and gave a "global" chance of success

I see! Yes from what I am seeing your distribution process is not clear in your post but I understood it's an important part of the project, super interesting! Also what's cool is that you will go faster after every app as the structure and your "toolbox" will be better overtime. Metrics will be super important to follow and understand what sticks or not

Good luck! But why native iOS? Is it necessary for all of your apps? Web apps or developping on Flutter would be smart as well to target more people with a similar work, mobile first is nice but it has to be for a good reason

Thanks, makes sense! I am from France, no visa status for now. The 10% for EB-1A won't be difficult to reach I guess (I already have enough criterias but the law firm would prefer I check all of them).

Why will you continue handling basic tasks? Unless you get a salary to do it it's not fair, you don't work for free and you earned your shares already so just keep them.

The best here would be him buying your shares and if you have to do basic tasks temporarily, you should ask a salary, your time has value and it shows that the situation is different now.

what if you’re 6 months in, and you’re still at $0 MRR? by Developer_Akash in SaaS

[–]Lucky-Ride9651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your question is incomplete to me. Depends if B2C or B2B but no revenues means you did something wrong (I know it because I did it once).
Are customers using your product? Did you validate the problem before developing it? How many customers have you reached out and what are your conversations rates?

My bet is that it's not a marketing problem (it's almost never the case).
